Good product
The light stays on all night long. It lights up a large area. Easy to put together. It comes with bolts that you can use to fasten into concrete. I ended up buying four 2 inch washer head screws to fasten it to the side of my house. Works great!

Not easy to install
The media could not be loaded. Starting with the positive - the light does what I want it to do. It lights up my pool at night when we want to swim without using electricity. Because I only want it on when I'm swimming, I love that I can turn it on and off and do not have to have it on from dusk till dawn. Now, the negative.1. The light had these rust spots on the front corners.2. The installation instructions are useless. You'll need a magnifying glass to read them. They are written by someone who learned English as a second language. The pictures do not match the components or the hardware. On my version, the picture of the "wall" install was swapped with the "pole" install.3. The screws, etc. that are given don't seem to be correct. The worse one is where you attach the solar panel to the back (see pictures). There is just one screw - and even as tight as I could get it, the panel would just swing around. Installed, a breeze will move it. I adjusted it for the pictures, and you can still see that it is not level. I know it's supposed to be adjustable, but unless you can reach it to move it all the time, it's mostly going to stay in one place.3. If you choose a pole install, you'll need at least a 1.5" diameter pole, or the pole attachment will be too big and will just slide down the pole. I ended up turning the attachment piece to the back side and squeezing it together, which caused the metal to bend around the pole the other way. And what's up with those massive bolts? If you did have the correct size pole, you'd only need about 1/2" at most to tighten the two pieces together. This unnecessarily complicated tightening the bolts.4. The remote. As I mentioned, I do like that I can turn it on and off, but I have to walk right up to the light and be under it in order to turn it on or off. I've been experimenting - pushing the button the whole walk over to see if there's a spot farther away that will work, but it doesn't. I'm not sure where the receptor is - maybe if that was more visible or the light was higher it would work better? For $54 would I buy it again? Maybe - I think time will tell. If it lasts a few seasons, then it was worth it. I do know that for the functions that I wanted (on/off, no motion detection), the selections was limited.

solar walk light
Light worked well when first installed. I tried to reset the setting as I had trouble remembering to use my remote control. After a short time, nothing worked with the remote. I tried to reset the buttons direct and still do not have the white light working. The red lights are on, so I know the solar power is working.

Can't even install it
I can't even get the thing installed, let alone working. The item consists of a light, a panel, a bracket, a short pole, and some bolts to attach the bracket to the panel and bolts to attach the pole to either a building or a pole. Here are the issues:1. The panel, which is approximately 18 inches long, attaches to the light via a PLASTIC bracket. Keep in mind this is an outdoor light and is going to be subject to weather conditions. So how long do you suppose a plastic bracket is going to last?2. There is a bracket that attaches to either side of the panel. In the middle of the bracket is a hole. You are supposed to attach the bracket to the light by inserting a non-existent bolt into that middle hole and then into the PLASTIC housing of the light. So you have ONE bolt holding a bracket that holds an 18" x 6" solar panel to the light. Again, this is an outdoor light, subject to weather. The solar panel is attached with ONE bolt in plastic housing. One wind and the panel is going to spin like a top and be pulled out of that cheap piece of plastic its screwed into.3. If you are attaching it to a pole, it is attached by a flat bracket. Now, i don't know about your area, but in my area, poles are round. So it is interesting that one would think a flat bracket where both sides of the bracket are flat, is going to securely hold the light to a round pole. Mind you, this is the same bracket they expect you to use to secure to the side of a building. So its flat, not rounded. Does it make sense to you that the same bracket you would use to secure it to the flat side of a building will work in attaching it to a pole? Of course not. Picture a sandwich with two square pieces of bread and a hotdog between it. That is what they are suggesting for attaching this to a pole.

Great lights for the price.
Great lights for the price, battery lasts at least 5 hours, works very well, comes on automatically at night so need to remember to turn it on. Remote works well too. They are brighter than I expected.
