When joining two different thicknesses, for safety and simplicity we generally recommend deriving all your settings, including screw length, from the smaller thickness, whichever piece that is.

Do you have a model that will work with a 2" piece of wood?

A 2x4 has a nominal thickness of 1 1/2” x 3 1/2”. Use the 1 1/2” setting. The settings are for the most common wood thicknesses to prevent the screw from protruding through the wood. For a thickness not listed you should round down to the next setting. For example, if the actual thickness is 1” you would use the 3/4” setting.

Is it possible to dethatch the thickness stopper from kphj310 and use it as well? i mean use it like mkjkit mini jig kit?

Yes, you can detach the base of the 310.
