Q: Is this thread strong enough for stringing beads?

This thread is very flimsy. I couldn't use it for hanging the item I bought it for. I would not trust it for beads.

Q: I used this to sew a white insert at the neck of my t-shirts to make them more modest. It worked great but the ends are itchy. Any ideas to fix that?

Finish the stich with the tag end (the end piece) on the outside of the garment. That way it can't poke you causing the itch. Works for me. Hope that helps.
