How “quiet” is this? I have a small dog and he doesn't like it when i use the blender i have at present as it is quite loud

It’s not that quite but it’s not very load. It’s kind of acceptable loud. Not sure if your dog going to like it but you will definitely like it as it’s very good Blender.hope my answer and video help.

Probably best to get the solid little grinder for nuts, seeds etc. However it’ll probably do them ok as it will do ice which is very hard.

Yes, it will. The advice in the booklet is to use the little mill for nut butters. I’ve not tried yet but the mill is very good for coffee beans and also pesto. The 1.8 litre jug is big for nut butters, so the mill is the obvious solution.

Which specific adapter do i need to buy for use in the u.s.? where can i buy the adapter? or?

You will need a voltage converter.
