SAD light
I have this behind my tv as an uplight. I run it every morning on a timer during the winter to combat seasonal depression. The intense blue light works well for me as a SAD light while I watch the news in the morning.I use this light for a high intensity kick in the morning then switch to 6500k bulbs for the day before switching to warm lights for the evening. For me, duration has been as important as intensity. 8 hours of 6500k will beat 1 hour of 10,000k in effects. Doing both is working nicely.

Bright but shows up blue in photos
I photograph jewelry and gemstones for work. I was hoping the addition of an extra light would help, however the light turned up too blue in the photos taken in my lightbox.

Beautiful 10,000k!!
I LOVE this LED bulb! It's bright, runs cool and is a great color temperature for my preference! I prefer a more blue tint to my lighting and this does the trick! It also has a fan inside but is very quiet!If you like that pure glacier white/blue look, get this bulb! Wont be disappointed!!
