Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken - Happily buying another one.
My Toolbox, (Pelican Storm iM2720 Case Without Foam (Black), IM2720-00000), lasted 6 years fully loaded to 69.5 pounds of tools and supplies, has survived several trips around the world, several natural disasters, dragged through mud, sand and gravel, countless flights and trips before some luggage handler managed to rip the TSA Lock (sold separately) off of the box, ripping the hardened plastic off to do it. An impressive feat considering the construction of this box. They must haven been using the added lock as a handle to fling the toolbox around to manage that kind of damage. Beyond not being able to lock the tool box with the added TSA locks the box is still in great condition! I will be gifting this box away because I simply need the locking holes for my TSA locks. The box is strong enough I probably could add hasps to the box and get another several years out of it but it has done its duty and it's time for a shiny new one. A Very impressive box that lasted years beyond what it should have.

~ Fabulously Well-Made, Convenient Size, Strong and Simply THE Best! ~
This Pelican Storm iM2720 Case With Foam IS the tool case of tool cases! My husband had one at his previous job and had to turn it in when he quit, so he was thankful to find this here at a better price than usual. He could not be more pleased with his purchase! This is a very well made case. The brand really can't be beat and the size of this one is absolutely perfect. If he needs to travel with his tools, he can throw some clothes in with it and just have one easy to take bag. Beautiful case AND beautiful is as beautiful does! Very nice. SO happy with this case!!

Perfectly solid as a toolbox for your road kit
I bought this case because I was tired of (1) tools eating my suitcases, and (2) suitcases eating my tools during travel to tradeshows. The case is solid, and it lies flat on the ground. The handle is stiffer than the comparable Pelican (1620 I think), which I like. I bought the version with the adjustable velcro pads in it, and I use it for a cordless drill, a bag of wrenches and pliers, multimeter, socket set, glue gun, bag of odds/ends/adapters, soldering iron, screwdriver set, tape measure, etc. It's been great so far, and, of course, the Adorama guys are great, too.I recommend going to [...] and clicking into Amazon from there as this gives Ken a tiny little bit of money for his excellent Nikon-nerd camera site. One thing to note--the case weighs about 15 lbs, so if you load it up with too much stuff, you'll be paying overweight fees (these vary somewhat mysteriously by airline and, apparently, day of the week / moon phase / etc).I kind of wish the dividers were sturdier, but honestly it hasn't been a problem even with the heavy stuff I carry around.Recommended.Jeff

Repackaged, used case.
The shipping box was damaged and it looked like it had been opened before I received it. The plastic shipping bag was crammed in the box; which left a bulge in the side of the box. Next the case looked like it had been opened and used, then repackaged and returned.P.S. I thought I was paying for a new Pelican case but I was wrong. Very disappointed…

Pelican has never let me down
In my line of work we use a ton of Pelican cases. They are trusted to protect thousands of dollars of gear and with all the abuse they've taken over the years, they have never failed. This particular case is a great size for many applications. It's plenty deep without being awkward to roll or carry. The pick n pluck foam is the only way to go. Completely customizable to suit your needs and if those needs change you can just buy new foam inserts and start over.

Great case, but beware of wheel shaft design
After using this case only once on an international flight, the retaining ring holding the wheel shaft in place fell off. This resulted in wheel shaft coming out case entirely. Not a good design at all, considering this is supposed to be a rugged heavy-duty case.. I will likely replace existing shaft/retaining ring with a partially threaded bolt + locknut.

Photographers protector
I am a wedding photographer with heavy extra photography equipment. I bought the case with the adjustable dividers which work really well. I keep all of my back up equipment in the case at all events. There is more room than I need which allows me to carry batteries, lenses, back up camera bodies, chargers, flash triggers, mounting brackets, business cards, etc.Design- The idea of the rollers is great! There is no wobbling and they role easily. By the end of the event I am so exhausted I can hardly carry the camera. The wheels really help. The case is very solid, there is no wiggle in the hinges and the latches work well. There are large folding handles on 3 sides. The handles have a nice rubber padding which is easy to grip even when wet.The one design flaw (and the only reason I didn't rate the case 5 stars) is; Most events end in the evening with little to no light. In order to extend or retract the extending handle, it requires the user to (with the flashlight which is kept inside the case) visually locate a small, indistinguishable, black on black colored, latch on the bottom of the case, slide it and simultaneously, with the other hand, lift or retract the handle. A truly dumb design. The design could have been fixed with simply using a contrasting colored latch. Or even better, a latch on the handle so it could be raised and lowered with one hand.I have not had to take it in an extremely wet condition but with the way the seal is laid out, I would not hesitate to take it in the rain.Style- Looks great, solid, and professional.I do recommend the case.
