they worked great i use the to cover the pipes on my pool heater so nothing can get in the pips they work great

No the 1/2” PVC is 1/2” inside diameter you would need more like a 3/4” cap for the 1/2” PVC

I doubt it highly, you are .09 inches larger than the caps. They are only 3/4" .75 inch
