Try with adjustable candle resin burner:)
If u don't like all the smoke and burned tire smell but love the quality dhoop scent u can break it up into little pieces and use with one of these burners to experiment with. Works great! U can find the cups by searching 2 oz. Aluminum foil baking cups. I use the 2.37 x 2.37 x 1.12 in. ones- and bend the edge a tiny bit for the brass bar(see pic)Enjoy:)Also works in electric burners! Note:in this version as the dhoop starts to dry it releases the woodsy benzoin type scents that other reviewers mention after burning traditionally.

Love this product
Love this product. We use laxmi dhoop sticks every morning in our home after our morning prayers. It has a good smell and stays for a good couple of hours after it is burned. But word of warning - this is a typical indian incense smell that we grew up smelling in Indian temples and perhaps our own homes. This could be a little of-putting to folks who are not already familiar with the smell of dhoop in general. It smells great when it is unburned but when you burn it - the smell will be different. This dhoop is also great because it is moist with the oil that may be used in creating these dhoop sticks - this ensure that it burns steadily. Some other varieties of dhoop I have tried are dry and sometimes will have trouble burning fully."Dhoop" was traditionally used in India to make the surroundings pleasant and get rid of small insects. It also has medicinal benefits - for the patients suffering from asthma, bronchitis and cold. Varieties of essential oils, aromatic herbs and gums are used in the making of traditional Indian dhoop incense.I would recommend it and buy again.

Selling old product
I don’t think anyone should buy from this seller because the Laxmi shop is almost two years old. The manufacture wrote on there page that it is best used within 12 months. The box says 3 years but this batch has lost its effectiveness. There is no value in this batch. So, I will give is a poor rating. I will try to return it buy I would rather pay the tariff than to reorder.

Wet Dhoop sticks - the real thing.
I sometimes have a hard time finding wet dhoop incense so was neat I found this whole retail box and at a good price. I like the wet dhoop better than the dry.Not dried out burns great.Must only use a single "strand". Making it too thick it won't stay lit.Burns a long time.A++

dhoop bazooka
a quarter stick of this stuff rolled into a cone will fill several rooms with its amazing benzoin scent. i've been burning full sticks on my front porch, rolled up into very large cones, just to dhoop up the neighborhood a bit. the police have not been called yet.it is inadvisable to place your face directly in the smoke stream of this product as it is burning, because the resins kick out quite a bit of acrid, harsh hydrocarbons. that being said, a little bit goes a very long way, and the effect you're going to enjoy is the lingering scent after the stuff is done burning... it lends a great woody, resinous undertone to the spaces it is burnt in, and mixes very well with other dhoops, champas, sandalwoods and other masalas.this is also an excellent dhoop for outdoors... after the smoke has "cooled off" a bit, just a whiff of the stuff is undeniably awesome. i'm hoping to have confused at least a few of my neighbors so far.divineproducts delivered on time in decent packaging.. and the bang for the buck is unbelievable. i'll be ordering more.

The Dhoop is Dope!
I have been burning this for close to a decade. The aroma is strong, but I love it! There are no stores that sell it near where I currently live. I'm very happy to find it here at a decent price. The logs are thinner than what I remember, but the dgoop is the same. Since they are thinner, they are easier to light, but burn out more quickly. I used to halve them before burning, but now burn the thin ones whole.

Heavy, thick sooty smoke
I've always loved Laxmi Dhoop. This isn't a 'stick,' these are raw pieces of dhoop in pressed cylinders. You have to shape it into a cone to burn well. This is DHOOP, so it is very oily and burns thick dark smoke. It will also send out soot into the air when you burn it (you can see the black soot pieces floating in the air). It's best for open air temples or burning outside. I don't recommend you burn this in your house, unless you don't mind soot and smoke build up on your walls and possessions.
