It depends on the type of charger you're using, at the moment am using Samsung phone charger for my one, but trust me the lamp looks very small but the brightness is amazing. Am using mine down in Africa, Hope this helps

PS The description say "The lantern comes with rechargeable 4400mAh batteries; you can charge the light via offered micro USB cable (adapter/charger not included). Discharging time (max.): 7 hrs. (Daylight White), 12 hrs. (Warm White), 6.5 hrs. (Combined) Charge time: Around 8 hrs." And you can charge your phone from it too.

It's approximately 10 to 12 inches I think it's a fantastic light burning bright and even charges my phone

Mine seem to take a long time to stop trickle charging, is it normal for the battery to take 20 odd hours to charge? For 6 hour of light?

The duration of light given by the lantern depends of the light intensity chosen. After switching on hold down the switch and different light intensities are available. The charging time is long if the battery is completely discharged ... but it can be topped up after use at lower levels of lighting.
