does the radio work in sothern hemisphere >ie NZ ?

Will this watch charge with natural light or only with the charger supplied?

I have not used the charger since i bought the watch earlier this year. I ensure the watch is exposed to natural light when it is not being worn. So far this has kept the watch charged adaquately and I am very happy with the way it is performing. Come the winter months time will tell if a boost may be required from the charger.
