Evapo-Rust ER013 Super Safe Rust Remover - 5 Gallon Pail

I recently picked up the Evapo-Rust ER013 Super Safe Rust Remover in the 5-gallon pail, and I have to say, it’s one of the best products I’ve tried for tackling rust. 🙌 I’ve used it on everything from old tools to some rusted auto parts, and the results have been impressive every time. You simply soak the parts in the solution, and within a few hours, the rust is completely gone without any scrubbing! 😱 It’s so easy to use, and what I really appreciate is that it’s non-toxic and safe to use around the house, unlike some of those harsh chemicals. 🌱I love that the solution is reusable, so it’s not just a one-time use, which makes it super cost-effective. 💰 The 5-gallon size is perfect for multiple projects, and I’ve already used it for a handful of items with no issues. I like this stuff and it works...which means it removes rust, but not stains...which means you still have to polish what is left.

Works great. It takes about 24 to 48 hours of soak time to remove the rust.

This stuff is nothing short of Awesome!!!! If you are lazy or don't have time to spend hours sanding off rust, this is your answer. I have written maybe 3 reviews my entire life and this stuff is worthy of a review!!! I use it for removing the rust off old weights from bench press sets, works like a charm. Only thing is it takes time, don't think you will take off 20yrs of rust in two minutes, give it 12-24hrs (depends on how bad the rust) and it will come out looking like new! I buy the 5gallon size and boy do I need it, it says you can reuse it over and over but each time you use it, you will notice it takes a little longer to work, after about three heavy uses (massive rusted parts filled to the top of the bucket) it slows down significantly and the product at least in my instance turns black (probably from the paint on the weights i suspect) As far as paint is concerned yes it kinda takes it off a little?? but its seriously is hard to tell because there is so much rust on these weights thats I'm not sure how much black paint was initially there to begin with. It seems to really just attack the rust. Oh and its seems ridiculously safe very low oder but i will say it kinda has a very faint sulfur (rotten egg) smell but like i said very faint and hardly noticeable (also one of the weights got away from me and splashed in the bucket and this stuff went everywhere including my face and nothing at all happen just wiped it of and went on about my business). Yellowish, like a crappy beer, in color. Also whats great about this stuff is you can just leave you project in there as long as you want 2, 3 even 4 days no adverse effects once the rust is removed it just will sit there waiting for your next project, and it will leave the unrusted bare metal alone. Do yourself a favor and buy big!!! If your like me you will start to find tons of metal tools and the like around the house that have rust on it. PS you will need to dunk, at least the rusted area, and leave it submerged, for a significant amount of time so this stuff is NOT good for tables and chairs and the very large objects.

A bit pricey here, but do yourself a favor and buy a 5-gallon bucket of this stuff before you start your next car restoration project. Remove all the grease as best you can, then just let any rusty parts sit in the bucket overnight. Amazing results and biodegradable, so better for both you and the environment than most alternatives. Works faster at warmer temperatures, so keep the bucket in the garage or sitting in the sun on cool days.
