Good power and quiet
Wasn't sure what quality to expect, but they arrived well packaged, along with new caliper slides, plugs and also lubricant. The pads seem well made. After installing, the braking power is excellent and they don't make any noise. As I have read in others, they seem much better performing than the factory pads, though we only have a few hundred miles on them at this point - but all city stop and go - so pretty good so far.

They work well
I used these in the rear brakes of a 2017 Outback and they do the job. As far as the "easy to install" all depends on the car model and brake setup.

Great rear pads, but couldn’t fit clips on 2018 Subaru Legacy
Replaced the rear brake pads on my 2018 Subaru Legacy after 38k miles. These are nice brake pads and there’s a noticeable performance improvement. The included grease is nice, but not enough to also grease the slide pins, so make sure you have more on hand. One problem though - I couldn’t fit the clips on my Subaru calipers. I struggled for over 10 minutes to try to insert one of the new clips. Finally, I compared the new clips to the original Subaru clips and saw that the pin ends of the clips are a couple millimeters shorter than the originals. Maybe they could be bent to fit, but I was worried they could pop out. I ended up wire brushing/cleaning and reused the old clips and they’re working just fine. I’m adding a photo to show this - old clip on the left, new on the right. Easier to see in the bottom pin ends in the photo - notice that the new pin end is a couple millimeters shorter than the old pin end. It’s also shaped slightly different.I’m still giving 5 stars bc if the pads - wish I could give 4.5 stars though.

They still brake like new
I put these on my Subaru legacy XT. I put them on front and back. These are very near the best brake pads you can get on your stock breaks without getting track pads. They do make a slightly higher performance version of this pad with the same pad material but the shim or damper thing on the back side of the pad is metal instead of synthetic? Idk it that seemed like fancy marketing at that point so I got these with the same pad material instead of the more expensive version. I paired these with slotted and drilled rotors in the front that were 3500 grade cast iron instead of the normal 3000 grade. And after a year and at least 10k miles they still break very strong like they were when brand new! I make sure not to take my car with hot breaks in the car wash as to avoid warping my rotors.

Extremely noisy
I have been installing Akebono ceramic brake pads for the last decade or so on my cars.Because Akebono does not yet make a front brake pad for the Subaru Ascent, I decided to try another premium brand for all four wheels.I purchased a set of front and rear ceramic Power Stop brake pads (Z23-2170 and Z23-1808) for about $130 total and installed them along with a set of 4 brand new premium rotors on my Subaru Ascent. I have done the break-in procedure following the manual in the box. Everything was good for the first couple of weeks. The rear brakes then began to make noise, particularly at low speeds in traffic, and over the course of a few days, it became so loud that it was not only annoying but also embarrassing in city traffic.I took all 4 sets off of the wheels, lightly sanded the pads to remove any possible derby, lubed all pins and contact points, and carefully installed them back on the wheels. They were good for a few days, but then the rear ones started making the same loud noise.I decided to buy a new set of rear brake pads (of a different brand) and replaced them, which solved the problem. One or two weeks later, my front brakes started making the same progressive noise that is still loud and happens only at very low speeds.I finally contacted Power Stop customer service and explained the issue. I told them that I would like to return their faulty parts and asked them to give me my money back, but they refused since the 3-month warranty period had passed and they could not do anything.I would never buy or suggest that anyone buy this brand of brake pads.

Works well
The pads fit well to my 2019 Subaru Outback. It runs quietly even though the rotor was scratched and wasn’t turned.
