Much better than the white EMPI filters
This is much better quality than the commonly found white gauze filters sold by most of the VW vendors . The other ones crush easily, develop holes quickly, and the screen wires come loose and can get sucked into the carburetor.These KIPA filters do none of those things and that's good news!

In fairness I ordered a replacement carb at the same time and it was the carb that was different bolt pattern

Me gustó su calidad, sólo que cuando lo vas a colocar en un carburador Weber 32/36 tienes que hacerle unos cortes a la base del filtro, es fácil y pude hacerlo, ya lo instalé y quedó muy bien, lo recomiendo 100%

I bought this for the filter element and lid to replace mine for my IDF. This is a nice product. When I buy my weber 38 I'll be buying this filter setup again.

No it didn't fit the carburetor I ordered with it and the carburetor didn't fit the intake of mine so not a good job
