Mounts Front Tags Without Drilling
I wanted a license plate holder for this vehicle that I bought. I didn't want to drill or put screws thru the paint or bumper. A clerk at an auto parts store showed photos of a metal bar that went through the grille with a plate mount on the other end. Only needed some space on the under hood through the grille to squeeze the ends taut together. But, I only found one except that ome took too long in shipping. The adhesive idea was my next potential fail--none of the type holders were available. I couldn't (meaning I didn't want to wait or) spend a weekend on this project because the temporary tags would have expired--that, plus I had the tags already in my possession.PRO: 1) Screws you need are included with a wrench to drive them. 2) This holder has six slots that offer many options for the off-label method I used to mount it. 3) Sturdiness is the equal to many other LPlate tag holders. It is some kind of nylon that won't scratch or seem likely to rub a paint finish.CON: Used as intended requires holes to place screws (The two screws prvided seem to be self-drilling.)My method: I bought an assortment of long cable ties. Sat in front of the bumper with a mountain of determination to place the thing perfectly centered in front on the grille. I used two of the longest ties for each end of the holder. Joined them together to make one that was very long. I DID NOT PULL THESE TIGHT UNTIL I WAS READY TO PLACE THE TAG ON THIS HOLDER. I put those ties through the grille horizontals and back out through another slot that centered the holder equally (higher/lower from the road) on both the right and left ends of the holder. I found two grille verticals and used these to center the holder (Right/Left) and tightened these two ends on right side and left side of the tag holder. Next, I tightened the two sets of ties that went through grille horizontals. Next I used a diagonal nail cutter to trim the tie pulls within a quarter inch from the locking end of each tie. Last step was the same regardless how I mounted the holder--I screwed the tag on all four corners to the tag holder. I fits snugly tight. It doesn't seem to wear on paint or rattle. And, YES, it is perfectly centered. (Of course, others might be just as pleased to have it far to the right or left side without feeling any need to center it left to right.)

Slight misfit, easily corrected, excellent product.
This is the second one of these license plate brackets I have purchased, the first was for a 2022 GMC Canyon truck and this one for a 2024 GMC Canyon. The first one lined up easily with the grill of the 2022, but this one required me to drill two additional holes in the bracket, which was very simple and easy as I already had the drill set up to drill the necessary holes in the grill. The outcome was very satisfactory and I will buy the product again if the need arises.

Poor Quality
First, the bracket is flimsy, but I didn’t expect it to be extremely solid for $13. However, two of the screw mounts broke immediately when installing. I would recommend finding another bracket with all the options out there.
