SKS Programming Successful
Programmed steps A and C with the "Chicken Dance" and worked perfectly. The step C is the proximity or SKS system. This was my concern and the key was legit. SKS working great. Delivered overnight.

Worked as expected.
Was easily programmed using my failing key. I am happy with it.By failing key, the original key still worked but had damage that required me to held it in a specific way to make it work. After using that original key top clone to this new key, I keep the original only for if I ever lose the new one.

Multiple defects, low durability, incorrect instructions included, vulnerable to moisture
I bought this replacement SKS key fob for silver logo fobs. It failed to be added to the vehicle to start and stop. The battery was completely drained. The included instructions were incorrect. Also, it is not moisture resistant with durability being a major concern.Upon removing the fob from the pristine and unopened packaging, I noticed that it was unresponsive after pressing the buttons; no lights were present. It turns out that the 3V battery was completely drained. The packaging was simply a electrostatic ziploc bag sealed within another plastic bag with no box or padding. At best, this had been sitting on the shelf long enough to fully drain the battery. More likely is that the poor packaging resulted in a button being depressed for an extended period of time while in transport or sitting in a warehouse. It's easy to replace the battery. But now I'm more concerned about the longevity of the buttons and rubber button covers.Included in the packaging was a small business card with a QR code for programming instructions widely known as the "'chicken dance". Following the link brought me to a page with instructions for a black logo, non-SKS product. The instructions for silver logo vs black logo fobs are not the same. I resorted to following the community published chicken dance instructions posted on priuschat.com. I did verify that the correct item was sent according to two stickers on the product and packaging. Both indicated that it was a SKS silver logo fob.Worst of all, the product is defective. The embedded immobilizer RFID chip would not be added during process A of the chicken dance. This is the step to allow insertion of the key fob into the vehicle slot to start the vehicle. The flashing security light on the dashboard indicated that the vehicle was trying to add the fob. But it never managed to do so after a dozen tries. I didn't bother to attempt to follow the SKS Process B instructions to lock and unlock the vehicle.I've successfully added another keyfob using this same method in the past. As the original owner of the vehicle, I am 100% certain that I am not exceeding the limit of five key fobs programmed to this vehicle. As noted by other reviewers here, durability is a concern. The factory key fob uses durable adhesive sealant and is water resistant. However this third party fob is unsealed and vulnerable to moisture. Since the casing is likely two plastic halves which easily snap together with zero adhesive, I'm also not terribly confident that it will survive accidental drops on concrete or our ceramic tile at home.

Update to my : Worked the first time
Update to my review. After the failure I noted in my first update, suddenly, out of nowhere, the fob started to work, and work perfectly. So I am updating to five stars.I will say that the first person who helped me at their company was great, but the second person was terrible. So if you get someone who is no help, try calling back at a different time. Or just call back and try to get Bill! He was great. Whoever the woman was who answered the second time I called was no help at all.One hour later the new key no longer worked. I was stuck with a car that wouldn't start, and had to get a friend to go to my house to get my old fob so I could start the car. Moreover, my old fob - which worked perfectly before - now won't lock or unlock the door remotely at all.I went back on their customer service chat and all the woman did was send me a copy of the dirctions that came with the fob, which obviously I already had.I will now have to go to the dealer to get the original fob fixed, and see if they'll program this one, or if I should just pay the $300 a dealer charges for a new fob. I'll update after my dealer appointment.I'd first bought one of the other fobs, and despite many attempts, couldn't get it programmed. Their instuctions weren't working, and referred to steps that weren't even there. This fob has excellent customer support, right on their site with a great chat (thanks Bill!), to clarify any questions. The programming worked for me the first time.Note their instructions are unclear on one point: on step 9, make sure to press and hold the lock and unlock buttons simultaneously on THE OLD FOB first, then the new one.

Good Price, Tricky Setup
The price is a third of Toyota's. You have to do a bit of a hokey pokey dance to get it setup. If the setup sequence doesn't work the first time, try it again. Once connected, it works as it should.

Works great... You need patience and precision to program it
This works, but you have to be patient trying to program it. The instructions included through a QR Code are not very helpful. You really need to find the instructions online on YouTube and follow them precisely. It took me about 20 minutes to program. You program it in 2 parts. First, the Key to start the car, and then secondly, to open the doors. You need to do the whole process about as quickly as possible. Because it seems to need to be done in a fixed period of time. And you really need to pursue both processes one following the other. If I checked The first process to see if it worked, I couldn't get the second process to program. Just trust the process and go through both steps. You have to be extremely diligent. Do you remember how many times to open the door when to close it? When not to close it, it's a very complicated process, but to do this instead of spending five hundred dollars to do it, it's certainly worth the twenty minutes of timeNote, the one thing this does not do is allow you to open the car door by just putting your hand inside the knob. You will need to press the unlock button on the fob to unlock the doors.
