READ ME - tips to help you install this hitch on your Telluride
I just purchased this hitch to install on our 2023 Telluride. I'm grateful that I read the reviews first, as the measurements provided to cut the 'notch' in the bumper ARE WRONG! If you follow the cut instructions (which are not all that clear to begin with) - you'll end up with a hole in the wrong spot, that you then have to expand and it will be way larger than necessary. My overall impressions of this are that it's very high quality. I have a Curt hitch on my other vehicle and it's been great, so I had no hesitations with purchasing this one. Installation wasn't that bad if you're somewhat handy/mechanically inclined. The hardest part for me was getting the rubber exhaust mounts released to allow the exhaust to drop down. I ended up just using a big screw driver to pry them off. I was able to install this by myself, it was a challenge to hold the hitch in place while getting a bolt through, but it wasn't that bad. Overall I'd rate the difficulty on this 6/10.Here is the most important part of this review: I HIGHLY recommend watching the installation video on Youtube that etrailer.com posted. There is also a video from Uhaul - but I like the etrailer video because it shows you how to remove the trim piece from the bumper that you have to cut. It's MUCH easier to cut this if you have it removed from the vehicle. Not only that, but by removing it, you can install the hitch, and then you can put the trim piece back in place (partially, it won't fit until you cut it) and mark EXACTLY where you need to cut. Again - the measurements in the instructions are off by about 1/2 in or so.I haven't had a chance to use the hitch yet, but there's not much that can go wrong now that I have it installed. For now I won't be using it for towing, we'll only be using it for cargo carrier and bike racks.

2024 Kia Telluride
Despite Amazon saying that it won’t fit on a 2024 Kia Telluride, it fit perfectly. The instructions were perfect except the torque settings and the bolts/nut sizes were off. The instructions had a smaller nut/bolt description but everything fit snugly where they should be. A little challenging to get everything lined up, and some muscle had to be used to jostle the hitch into place. It was a bit tough getting the torque wrench into place and the sizes of the nuts/bolts necessitated a trip to Harbor Freight to get a bigger set of sockets and wrenches. You need to cut a piece of the bumper off so receiver has room but the Drexmel and a disc cutter took care of that. The cut is way underneath the bumper so it isn’t visible looking from the rear, and the piece cut out is small.

Perfect
Well built, fit perfectly on my 2020 Telluride. Get the adapter for the lighting too. There was an adapter available for trailer lighting.

Curt Hitches are Great
This is the second vehicle I've installed Curt Hitches on and both looked and functioned great. I almost bought a "hidden" hitch for a lot more money, but the Curt ended up being as hidden as any of them were. I'm very impressed and very pleased. It did take a bit of mechanics skill to install it, but their instructions were pretty good (not perfect).

The hitch is good, instructions are not.
Watch out—the measurements/instructions for cutting the lower plastic bumper trim piece were wrong on mine. I followed the instruction and measurement and ended with the gap on right side of the receiver..

Avoid Curt products.. Beware
I purchased a 13420 Class 3 Trailer Hitch for my vehicle (Kia Telluride). When it arrived, the box was sealed. No signs of being opened or repackaged. The outside of the box showed the correct vehicle and part number.I dropped it off to a local shop to have them perform the install. I was called a few hours later and told that after disassembling the vehicle and attempting to perform the install, they identified that what was in the box (hitch assembly and hardware) were actually for a Mazda CX-5. This was not the fault of the shop and I agreed to pay them the labor charge for the time and effort they put into this. After contacting Amazon CS, they stated that this was shipped from the manufacturer and the best they could do was allow me to return it and provide me with a $5 account credit.. (for several hours of my wasted time and the labor cost). They told me I needed to speak with CURT about a discount/compensation for getting the correct part re-ordered. I contacted CURT and while the gentleman I spoke to wasnt rude, he had zero empathy for the situation. He stated that they have had nothing but problems with their products being sold through Amazon and that I should avoid making anymore purchases thought Amazon. He then gave me a list of other (more expensive) websites that I should do business with instead. When I explained that the box was factory sealed from them, he just said sorry nothing we can do for you. Keep in mind all I was asking for was a discount for the inconvenience but willing to give them the chance to make it right. His response was "sorry no, go ahead and leave a bad review"... just wow.. well CURT here's your bad review.Terrible customer service.. avoid at all cost.

Great Hitch, easy to install
The hitch looks great and was easy to install. The directions was great with having pictures of where each part was going. The easiest way we found to support the muffler is with a jack stand. We only removed 3 of the 4 rubber brackets that it said to remove. The rubber brackets holding the muffler on are very hard to pull off. We took the little cover off that you will have to cut to make it easier. There is 4 screws and clips that hold it on. We cut a lil at a time to make sure we didn’t cut too much. We used a pair of all purpose scissors that are for mechanical work and then used a dremel to get more accurate results. Overall it’s a great hitch.
