Fit my Tao Tao 50cc Perfectly
Had a bad float needle in my old carburetor causing flooding. This is a direct replacement for the GY6 50cc that I have and worked better than the original. Only about 3 minutes of adjusting after install. Great inexpensive product. This version also has the threaded screws instead of the filled plugs that some have that allow for servicing and cleaning.

Works great
I was leery buying this with just one review. The only thing I had to do was adjust the fuel/air mixture and the idle which was expected. It really woke up the TaoTao Thunder 50 I installed it on. The cone air filter makes it sound like a real motorcycle because of the intake noise level, louder but not objectional at all. I had plans to jug this Thunder 50 with a bigger cylinder for more power but I probably won't now, no need to, plenty of power with this carb. It pulls right up hills without a struggle now. I haven't tried it with the original air box yet to see how it sounds, I'm sure it would be quieter, but I have plans to, I'm sure I will have to adjust the idle and fuel/air mixture which is a very easy procedure. So far so good...

It works better then stock.
It fits well, quality is better than stock. Power and tuning are a lot easier, cleaning is too. Installing was cake .

Solved my weird idle issue
This is a good kit. I didn't need the intake manifold, gaskets or extra cone filter, but now I have extras. This carb took all of 10 minutes to install. I had to fiddle with the mixture screw a bit, but now the bike idles nice and low and purrs. Good value and a quality part.

Doesn’t work
Installed on my maddog icebear 49cc. Scooter won’t run with it, installed factory carb and fired first kick. Might take apart and mess with it but save your money and buy an actual upgraded carb. You get what you pay for. I took a chance and lost

Saved my scooter!
I had installed a BBK and could not get my scooter to hold it's idle despite hours of air/fuel screw adjustments with a brand new carb. In frustration I ordered this one and I'm glad I did. It started right up once I had gas in the carb and purred wonderfully. So far I've only had to adjust the idle screw for a steady idle. You can also open up this carb and change out the jets easily. It came with a 78 main jet and a 33 pilot idle and takes the standard CVK type jets. Once I do some road testing I'm sure I'll have to upjet mine but so far I have a lot of confidence in this carburetor. VERY happy 🤗

not as described but works
first off like to say that this is not a performance carburetor. The one I received was exactly identical in every measurement and detail as the stock 18mm carburetor that I removed from my 50cc gy6 scooter. I knoticed no performance increase at all whatsoever with this carburetor. It was also hard to get it tuned to my scooter as well it had issues with staying idle at stops. The good things that I can say about it is that it was a brand new carb and it works on my scooter just not the 'performance' carb that I thought I had purchased. I don't even belive that it has the upgraded jets inside of it that the description claims it has. Don't always believe the description of a product on here things can be very deceptive.
