Works just like factory charger .. in fact a little sturdier cordage. I left my factory charger at my home office as this one will wear better.

This works great to keep my laptop charged but it is large and heavy. Keep that in mind if portability is an issue. It will add weight of carrying on a flight or carrying a laptop backpack. With a rolling laptop back it is easier to transport.

Update on this. I had used my volt meter incorrectly. The fault was NOT in the charger. The fault ended up being a loose connector inside my laptop. After snugging that down this charger works fine. The vendor contacted me after the earlier review looking to make things right so I retested and found my error. Apologies to Zahooy Direct for the earlier review.------------------------------------------------------------------------------I used this with my Thinkpad. It worked for a month then suddenly stopped charging. A volt meter shows 120VAC going in and 0VDC coming out so it is the charger, not my laptop. What a coincidence the return window closed a week ago. I guess I'll have to buy another but it will not be from here.

Stopped working within a week of having it. Don't waste your money.Update: Seller contacted me and sent a free replacement. Good customer service. Will update again if new charger stops working.

Works well for intended use. It is large, if you're going to carry it around.

This worked instantly. My Lenovo laptop original charger would overheat and be hot constantly and I thought that was normal.This Charger plugged in and my computer immediately began charging and this was cool to the touch!I would 100% buy it again! I trust it more than the original charger. I was afraid to leave my laptop unattended with the Lenovo original, and now I know from this charge it works without overheating!
