Does what it is supposed to do.

This is an aluminium extrusion and the brush bar is stuck into a channel using peel-away adhesive on the back of it. The brush bar itself appears to have an intumescent strip inside it, which is good as I needed this for a fire door.Note that the height tolerance for getting a snug fit is really tight - I'd say no more than 1.5-2mm of variation across the width of the door. I had to slice off a very awkward tapering wedge from the bottom of the fire door to get a snug fit that stops the draught. But that it does.Also note that this only has three countersunk screw holes across the width. Unless you've got a really wide door you are likely to lose one of those screw holes when cutting it to size. I had to add an extra screw hole, which means drilling and countersinking a pretty thin bit of aluminium, which must be done carefully. I also used a metal file to deburr the rough aluminium after cutting to size and drilling the extra hole.It takes a bit of fettling but overall it's good.To make this better I'd like to see one or more extra screw holes from the factory as well as the option for one that is packed with closed cell insulation and has a thermal break to avoid cold bridging.

Perfect for my needs and good quality. I had a gap at the bottom of a door from my garage to my utility room. Works perfectly as a draft excluder and kept building control happy as it’s a fire door.
