Works well
Since this vacuum/blower is electric it is much quieter and more environmentally friendly than the gas models. Has stronger suction and blower than lithium battery powered units we tried previously. The gutter attachment worked very well and made the nasty job of gutter cleaning much easier. Vacuum bags are made of some sort of nylon-ish fabric with a sturdy zipper. We ordered extra bags to speed up the leaf clearing process (one person can vacuum while the other empties the bags), fyi there are two sizes of bags available, reasonably priced. Switching between blower and vacuum functions is easy to do. Now that we grind the leaves we don't need to use as many yard bags. Recommend wearing a face mask when using the vacuum feature as it can sometimes get a bit dusty from dirt and leaves getting ground up, but that shouldn't be a game changer.

This thing Sucks!
It sucks all right, perhaps not as much as I would like. Does great with dry leaves or damp leaves, but not as great with really wet leaves. The blower function is really good and the "gutter" extensions are great for getting into those hard to reach places from the ground. I used it through the fall on several jobs around my house and on my daughter's rooftop. It did what I needed and for the $$ it was the best value I could find. Came with 2 bags. It's GREAT for getting leaves out of hard to reach places like window wells

Solid Reliable Tool
So, I needed a multifunction tool that could assist in yardwork specifically in Fall for leaf removal. Found this online. Read the reviews and chose to purchase it. It came earlier than expected, a plus, and I promptly unpacked it and put it to work. It was a mild day here in NY where we've seen unseasonable cold and wet weather lately and I wanted to do a final clean up in the yard before the town suspends its bagged leaf pickup in a few days. The blower worked fine with several different speeds. The noise level was quieter than a gas powered blower. The leaf vac/mulcher worked fine. I was pleased with the pickup and weight of the tool. The leaves in the bed were a "little" wet. Not soaking, I wouldn't have attempted to vacuum then. In the bed the power of the vac was strong enough to suck up the leaves as well as some soil. (more on that in a moment). Blowing the leaves into an area for a consolidated vacuuming seemed like an idea that was expedient. It was. I also was able to go through the beds with the vacuum and go from point to point vacuuming the leaves that weren't successfully freed from their entangled bedded areas. In cleaning the equipment I briefly reviewed the manual just to review it. It was adequate in terms of "how to" clean the equipment and of course, to be safe when doing so, i.e. unplugging the leaf vac from the power source. However, after sucking up the leaves from the bed there was an accumulation of dirt and soil. Not that I was surprised, but like a lawn mower I didn't want to let the soil cake onto the inside of the mulching turbine area. And the only way to clean this was by using fingers or a screwdriver or other long/flexible tool that could get inside the area to remove the caked earth/mud et cetera. This is not a complaint. I am merely mentioning it because had I turned on the outdoor spigots I might have used the hose to wash this area. I didn't do that either as the temps began to descend as afternoon got later. So, if you need a reliable leaf blowing/leaf vacuum/gutter cleaning tool, I would recommend this product. I felt it necessary to share with a potential buyer the maintenance I performed to ensure future operation.

A Great Electric Leaf Blower that Does it All!
I have a small yard that does not warrant buying a gas powered leaf blower. I do however have two trees that LOVE drop leafs year round. They cover my cars, fill my gutters and pile up in roof joints. I needed something that had a long reach and good power. Enter Sun Joe. I saw the good reviews on this unit and decided to try it.Starting with the power, it has plenty. I clean off my cars, sidewalk, driveway and patio with ease. There is a speed selector near the power switch which is nice. I use it to clean out my garage and being able to lower the power setting is a great feature. The gutter attachment is awesome. It’s in several sections to allow you to configure it for single story or two story gutters. You can also remove the end downspout section to blow off the roof joint sections as it’s just a long tube and easy to manage. Finally, I’ve only used the mulching ability twice. One of the deciding factors to purchase was the fact it has a metal impeller. Not all blowers do and if you want to mulch this is a huge plus! It works well but can be a bit of a bear to handle with the bag attached.Overall a great purchase that I use almost daily. Hopefully it lasts for years to come!

Works for vacuuming light twigs and leafs but it's a bit heavy.
This works for picking up leaves and twigs on rocks and other surfaces but it gets heavy. and if your short, 5'3", it feels like your dragging it on the floor. The handle is awkward to use. It would be better if they put an additional handle or a narrower handle to make it easier to hold onto.. The handle is very thick, and for smaller hands, it becomes difficult to hold for a long period of time.

Works well
I bought this to replace a 15 year old B&D Hedgehog that finally broke up.This unit has as much power, variable speed and is a little quieter. I was impressed with the metal impeller. The gutter blower is not that great. It is very wobbly with all the extensions attached and hard to direct into the gutter. And it's hard to control where the debris blows. Some of it goes back into the gutter, defeating the purpose. All the attachments worked well. Suction was good. The wheels on the tube are a nice plus. The bags are good.At 14 amps, you'll need a good extension cord.I assume the mulching function will be OK. I was just picking up maple blossom debris. It handled those small pieces just fine.
