Built like a tank, and goes through tough toenails like a hot knife through butter
I bought these for my Mother, who up until recently was able to get her toenails cut by the Podiatrist, thanks to Government cutbacks she could no longer get them done at the local Hospital. So this put us on Amazon to look for a suitable pair of toenail clippers that would allow me to do them easily and safely.I showed my Mother these and she said they look exactly like the Podiatrist used. My Mother is in her 70's and her toenails are very tough. This was not a problem for these and they cut through them like a hot knife through butter. I had no problem with these clippers cutting the big toenails right through to the little toenails. The design of these clippers is excellent, you have a three hinge system, and also a large handle. This translates into the power from your hand gets easily feed through this hinge system and through to the cutting area with only the minimal amount of squeeze of the hand needed. The handles are large and this means they are easy to hold and also with the aforementioned hinge system, you don't need to squeeze as hard as you can in order to get them to cut. If you hand limited strength in your hands, then I think you would still be able to apply enough pressure to cut the toenails, due to the design of these clippers. At the end of the handle is a little latch which keeps the clippers/handle closed when not in use. The build on these looks like it would last a lifetime. All stainless steel and built (like most things German made) to last.My Mother has in the past, had a little bit of trouble from her nails in growing a bit. My Mother told me that the Podiatrist had a little tool that allowed them to scrape away the dry skin in the corners of the nails and also, lift the edge of the nail where it was starting to in-grow. We looked on Amazon and my Mother found the exact same thing she had seen the Podiatrist use.So if you are in the same boat now (i.e.you have been victim of the Government cutbacks with regards to Podiatrist) then the below item is the perfect addition to have along with these excellent clippers.https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07FPCWKR4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1The only little negative I have (not with the toenail clippers) is that I wish the clippers had come in some sort of case/pouch. Rather than the cheap plastic pouch, which was split on one side when I received them. Luckily I had an old cloth pouch (from an old phone case) so I used this. But it would be better if these clippers came with something like this. All in all:If you are wanting a top, top quality pair of toenail clippers that will last many, many years, then these should be at the top of your list.

Cracking nippers!
Being an avid DIY'er with an extensive range of tools at my disposal, having a set of 'German forged steel hospital grade toenail sculpting implements' really floated my boat so I took the plunge and ordered some. I read that they were fully autoclavable as well but after looking that up on the internet, I don't think I'll be investing in one of those and will stick to hot soapy water to clean them with !I secretly yearned for a replacement for the set of 1960's steel toenail pliers I appropriated from my father a number of years ago and these looked to be very similar in style and operation. To me, they look slightly sinister and remind me of the closing scenes in the movie 'Braveheart' when William Wallace / Mel Gibson is about to meet his maker with the aid of a variety of implements.....They seem a bit over-engineered with the cantilever thingy but the overall length of the pliers coupled with this action make them very efficient and almost satisfying to use. They cut well with very little effort and the handle indentations/ grips are very helpful too. In the interests of consumer research, I let my 82 year old father try out these pliers and he too was very impressed. He noted that they were just like the ones he misplaced a few years ago.....I think these are an excellent mid-range set of quality nippers and if used in the manner intended (for cutting toenails...) will last for many years.

They work
Apparently German stainless steel, and they're made in Pakistan. They appear well-made and the cutting edges (when new, at least) come together in good alignment. The mechnical advantage in the multiple pivot mechanism gives enough cutting force even for the thickest toenails. In my opinion, you might want to supplement these with some more agile, angled blade, longer handled, scissor-type cutters for smaller, more delicate, harder to reach toenails; I bought some of those at the same time just in case, and I'm happy with that decision - best of both worlds.

Professional Toenail Cutters
As I’ve got older and my nails have got harder to trim, and it’s not just because “it’s a long way down” to my toenails, they seem to have got thicker and ridiculously tough.I used to trim all my nails with one of those clippers that you hold between your finger and thumb and you could hang on your key ring.I progressed to ones that looked like electrical side cutters in my thirties. I’m in my sixties now and the side cutters are no longer up to the job!Hence we come to the Blizzard toenail clippers, they are constructed to give maximum leverage by use of a cantilever mechanism and are the most expensive and best toenail cutters I have ever owned. They allow me to quickly and easily trim my toenails. They are well made but look a bit like garden secateurs, mine also came with a free diamond nail file.If you’re struggling to trim your or somebody else’s toenails treat yourself to a a pair of these.

Good value
Very good clippers, good quality at the price. I have paid much more for similar clippers as a chiropodist -would recommend.

Well made
Toenail clippers have been a lifesaver for me! These clippers are sturdy, sharp, and make trimming my toenails a breeze. They're ergonomically designed for easy handling, and the wide jaw allows for precise cutting without jagged edges. I appreciate the durability of these clippers, as they've lasted me a long time without dulling. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with my toenail clippers and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a reliable tool for nail care.

High quality, design improvable
While easy to handle and good leverage, the actual cutting surface is too short and not sufficiently rounded for good results
