Good dispatch and very good cd

I brought the vinyl version of this back in the late 70s, and still have it, this cd version is great, having been digitally remastered, it's clear and crisp sounding, recommend for look at kraftwerk work and sound

Kraftwerk were created in a Germany that had lost the second world war and were culturally adrift, in a state of flux. They decided to completely ignore all that had been there in the past and to try and create a future music, one that was not rooted in the music of Germanys past.At this stage of the bands existence they were only using synthesised instruments, mainly of their own invention. This album has tow of their best known tracks on it, The Model and We Are The Robots. I remember hearing them over 30 years ago for the first time and the tunes are so catchy they have been part of the grey cells ever since.This version/remaster sounds absolutely stunning, possibly the best I have ever heard this album, vinyl or otherwise. If you are a fan you will love this new cd version. If you have never heard Kraftwerk this is as good a place to start as any.Superb!

I'm not reviewing the music itself, just the product. The LP is a substantial weight and the sound is as good as I've heard from vinyl, with minimal surface noise. Nevertheless, considering this is a premium edition and, presumably, one aimed at the "audiophile" market there's no shortage of annoying clicks and pops that keep going through several rotations. I've had better for similar money. One might assume that the price you pay here relates more to the recording and packaging, which are both superb, than to careful handling received by the disc after pressing. A similar experience with other Kraftwerk titles in the series leads me to doubt whether there'd be anything to gain in seeking a replacement. Ah well, nothing that conversion to MP3 and some judicious click removal couldn't solve... just for music on-the-go, you understand!

Kraftwerk are one of my all time favourite bands, I have all their albums and have just updated to these remastered CD's. Quality of the remastering is superb and The Man-Machine is one of their finest albums. I first heard this just after it was released back in 1978 and bought the LP as soon as I could visit a record shop. It includes their number one single, The Model, but the best track, in my opinion, is Spacelab. The whole album is a fine piece of work and highly recommend it.

Love Kraftwerk, this is a great album my favourite is metropolis slow start then builds up, they are pioneer of the techno world
