I had a copy of this - and my friend Irene asked for it when I was only half-way done reading it. The gent who wrote this book is called Venerable - which means this padre is on his way to becoming a Saint too. He was Gemma's spiritual director and confessor.Gemma is a very amazing woman - very beautiful too. Her whole life and attitude were always united with Jesus. She spared no pain to be close to her Savior.Any book written by a priest proclaimed 'Venerable' about a real saint - is well worth reading. How much more the stunning life of St. Gemma!

Inspiring story of a true saint who suffered so willing for Jesus. I admire her courage. I don't that kind of courage. May God forgive me. Almost unknown, at least to me, this book opened up her life and the witness of her love of Christ like no other. Amazing.
