I would recommend this keypad to most people who need to use a keypad for high-volume number entry. While its portable for sure, its quite a bit bigger than the more compact options out there. This is necessary compromise for its mechanical switch design which offers superior usability and ergonomics over membrane keys that require you to press down firmly to actuate the key.These GATERON switches feel very, very close the Cherry MX brown switches I am used to so its no issue to work with. For those that don't know switches are color-coded according to their internal design and you pick what color you want based on what feel you want out of your keys. Brown-style switches have a tiny bump in their mechanism to make a tactile bump sensation as you type on them. They also have lighter pressure to actuation making touch typing all the easier, it also means at the end of a long day of accounts receivable posting my finger joints don't hurt from being slammed into a keypad with force for thousands of strikes per day.I also really like that this expanded keypad decided to keep the standard keypad layout and only add new buttons at the top. I've seen too many mess with that layout and I don't need to go around screwing with my muscle memory as I switch computers. What is even better is the functions are actually useful adding escape, tab, and backspace. I've seen other models have silly decisions like a calculator key as the normal press and tab as the modified FN + key press. Sorry when I am using Excel, I'm pressing tab a literal 2500 times for every time I might need to call up the calculator.The back light is actually pretty darn bright, visible in a lit room even at the lowest setting before off. This could be a pro or con depending on your taste. I also really, really, really like that the back-light for numlock goes out when you turn it off. If you are like me and rocking a 60% keyboard and a separate keypad you have no other visual indicator if numlock is on or not.Lets see, its got that slight incline nearly all keyboards have, so again it won't mess with your muscle memory, and the base is a nice sturdy aluminum with a classy looking polished section. With ample rubber on the bottom it also doesn't move around my desk while working. All this for quite an affordable price over other mechanical keypads. Now if only it came in wireless...

This keypad is really good and if I could give it 10 stars I would. Lets go over the pros and cons.Pros:Backlighting is amazing: The backlighting is really bright and has alot of features that really any other keypads don't have.Smooth Gateron Red Switches:The gateron red switches that come with it are very smooth and I tried it out on several games (osu!, COD AV, COD IW, etc).Quality: The plastic of the keypad feels very sturdy like it won't break if I drop it a couple of times.Keycaps: The keycaps are ABS Plastic so they should hold up. The keycaps feel very smooth so when I play games or just do simple calculations it won't hurt my fingers like with my other keyboard's keycaps.On the quiet side: These keys are linear. So they won't make alot of noise which from the last keys I used (TTC Blue) they were very loud and I didn't like that very much so these keys were a big change for me.Cons:The Cord: I noticed that the cord isnt braided so im worried that It could break but the cord is thick so it won't break any time soon. Also the cord isn't detachable so if it does break then you will have to return it for a replacement or for a refund.Thats basically it for the pros and cons.Overall this is one of the best keypads for this price and I recommend it 100% to anyone who wants to use it for gaming and just simple work.

I need a number pad for work but I couldn’t find a white keyboard that I liked that had one. I like this number pad. It works as intended and is smooth and easy to use. I do wish it had an on and off switch as there’s no way to turn off the glow unless you unplug it. It would also be cool if you could control the color so I cool old match it to my keyboard. But overall it’s a good product that does what I need it to.

For all my 10Keyless noobs out there, this is a great product in case you ever want to use the 10 key. I purchased this way back when i realized i hated having to keep switching on my FN button in order to type numbers .... if you get what i mean... this thing is super clicky, extremely bright, and really durable. Luckily it sat flush with my 10keyless keyboard and it even made it seem as though it was part of my keyboard. If you ever need to store this bad boy it wouldn't even be a problem because it is a small enough product where it will not take too much space. Highly recommend.

Bought this to go with my 60% keyboard, as I do still need a Numpad at times for spreadsheet work. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this little thing, it's heavy and doesn't FEEL cheap. The lights are very bright and the numbers show up very clearly with them. I also like the included function key options to turn the brightness up/down or the lights off completely.Haven't had any problems with things registering or not working as they should either. Overall I have no complaints, but I do have some things that would be nice to see in the event that the manufacturer decided to improve this product!It would be REALLY cool if there could be a controllable RGB optionA different cable type would be nice to see, this uses a mini-usb which is a relatively dated cable type. Works just fine, but would be nice to see something a bit more in line with other boards.Overall, great product for the price. Does exactly what I need it to do, but there are things that I wish were different about it!
