Excellent quality outside tap with 2 outlets
Replaced an old outside tap, where I'd been meaning to fix it for years, but held off doing so, as fixing taps is hard once they are quite old, (the threads fuse together).Having just built a greenhouse, I had an excuse to replace rather than repair the old tap, as I wanted one with a separate outlet which could be left on for the greenhouse irrigation system, but still have the main tap free for general use, without always having to hook and unhook. This tap arrived super-fast, and both outlets operated drip-free and nicely right from the off!!I used plumbers-tape to fit, as the fittings look pretty decent - but when fixing in to a decades-old pipe, there will always be a risk of drips - but the finish is so nice, you could probably screw this right in. 100% drip-free so far, (had it 2 weeks).Operation is lovely, because there is a clear on-off so you know when the tap is on or off when connected to the hose, and a quarter-turn is enough for full on or full off. Same quarter-turn on/off on the smaller bottom-tap, (which I will use for the greenhouse, but which is currently just switched to the off position as the greenhouse is not yet finished).A nice and unexpected bonus is that the bottom tap comes complete with the plastic fitting in the picture, (I had thought that was just for show), which means my hose clips right on with a universal fitting.Very happy indeed. So happy with it, that I felt guilty about the old tap - which I have now stripped down, refurbished, and fixed - so now I have a spare tap - yay !!Totally recommend this double-tap. Solid-brass construction, with galvanized coating which covers the threads and gives it a silver finish. I can't comment on longevity, but the plastic cover on the tap looks like it is UV resistant, (don't know yet, obvs as it is too new, still), and the whole thing looks sturdy, and screws right in to a standard fitting.

Tapped
Good quality brass and valves. Used the bottom outlet to pipe straight down and trench around the side of the house to the rear garden to have a tap out there too. The copper going into the ground will obviously freeze in the winter so it’ll get isolated inside and all valves left open so the pipe hopefully doesn’t split.Changed the lever valve for a butterfly valve head taken off a TF1 filter. Didn’t like the lever as it’s out the front of the house with a fair bit of foot traffic, a big red thing would be a temptation for someone…Overall, very happy with it, the quarter turn valves should be a standard across the board, much better than a standard tap.

Do not be afraid to fit this yourself
Easy to install, easy to use, well built and an absolute pleasure to use with no hose bursting off at connection like I previously had.Wasted more money on other connectors and adaptors to fit a rubbish tap I had than the cost of this whole unit lol.

Great upgrade
The tap was was simple to install and a great product the only gripe I had was the red plastic tap attachment split and leaked and replaced it with the old attachment besides that great product I might get another for the front garden.

Easy to fit, look
It is so easy to fit, at first it always ended up upside down, but this was my mistake for not putting enough plumbers tape around the thread once I had down that it was perfect, tight fit and no leaks.Couldn’t recommend this product enough.I would recommend you use VCE 2 Pack PTFE Industrial Sealant Tape White Thread Seal Tape,12mm x 13m https://smile.amazon.co.uk/dp/B071X6PC89/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_m0XjFbGZYPXJGOr something similar.

Double tap for my solar garden shower
Ok I have a solar powered garden shower, the foot wash tap that came with it wasn't very good. this is so much better! The large red lever is very easy to use and good for hands and feet washing, I use the secondary tap for a hose connection, great item and value.

It works but spend 5 quid more if you want it to last
It works... but spend 5 quid more if you want something that will last more than couple of seasons.Installed outside only a week ago and it is already rusting.I would send it back if I could be bothered...
