Great pump with addition of hose cap ( not included in pump) Wonderful support!
The pump had no suction when used as a stand alone without the hose attached. I called their wonderful customer support and we found out that a solid hose cap needed to be added to make the suction work. You can buy these at any hardware store. They’re aware of the omission. Now I love the pump!

Barely works
The rubber flapper check valve at the bottom doesn't work. 70 percent of the water drawn into the pump on the upstroke goes right back out the bottom the downstroke.
