Keeps the bolt from loosening
Bought this to keep the bolt from coming loose on my AR-15 site. Does the job without making it permanent. The blue allows you to still break the seal with moderate force when necessary.

Working great 4 months later!
By simply storing a tool in my car for a few months, I had 4 screws start to walk out due to vibrations from driving on the roadway. The act of driving my car, & the vibrations that come with road travel was causing 4 screws to slowly walk out of one of my tools. ...So I bought this blue Vibra-Tite, & the screws have since stayed put! Glad I caught the screws coming loose before they actually did pop-out, thanks Vibra!

Great for knife and glasses screws
This is a better product than locktite for small screws that will be adjusted or removed often. It doesn't have a "break free" point like locktite, instead it just makes the threads feel sticky so they unscrew with a consistent resistance that feels almost hydraulic-like. The product also stays on the threads for a good long while so you don't have to reapply until you've moved the screw a bunch of times. The only down side is that it's best to let it dry on the screw for 10 or 15 minutes before using it, so just start your project by cleaning and applying the vibra-tite to the screws first so they are mostly dry by the time you're ready to put them back in.Great stuff!

Better than loctite. Loctite gets brittle. Vibra-TITE secures without becoming brittle.

Holds screws in place while still being removable
Is it as good as loctite? Not really. But it holds my knife pivot screws in place while still being easily removable to maintain the knives. Works for my needs and the price was right.

Great for motorcyclists
I carry at least one of these on each of my motorcycles, especially my Harley Davidson, which has a tendency to vibrate fasteners loose. These little vials don't take up much space, weigh nearly nothing, and are cheap insurance. Best of all, the substance dries within about a half-hour of application, so within the space of a coffee break you'll have peace of mind that your fasteners are going to stay put. Furthermore the chemical will work on most engine fasteners because it can tolerate operating temperatures up to 300 degrees F.I prefer Vibra-tite 122 over Vibra-tite 121, as 122 is oil tolerant and 121 is not rated as such. For most applications that's not a huge deal, but in applications in which a fastener may be exposed to oil, it is reassuring to know your threadlocker won't be affected by petroleum products. In fact I don't bother with having both a vial of 121 and one of 122 in my toolbox- 122 is all I really need.Application couldn't be easier. Simply make certain that the fasteners are totally clean of dirt and oil, place a small drop of threadlocker on the fastener's threads, and torque fastener to recommended specs. One thing to bear in mind- the Vibra-tite oil tolerant threadlocker is only oil tolerant after it has dried- you should not apply it to oily/dirty threads. Future removal of the threadlocked fastener is easily accomplished using regular hand tools- no heat or special tricks required. If you or a friend enjoy riding motorcycles, ATVs, or any other type of motorsport, consider purchasing a couple of vials of Vibra-tite threadlocker. You never know when it will come in handy.

Bottle degrades quickly and falls apart.
Seems to work well, but after a year with the bottle being stored in my toolbox the nozzle broke off when opening the bottle. Now it's a mess to just get some out of it. Seems like the chemicals attack the plastic and make it brittle.
