Very nice angle vise for the money.
Great for drill press or general bench use. It's not a $500+ machinist's vise but it is well constructed for the price and would serve most users well for home shop use. I measured the pinned angle points with a digital angle gauge and they are essentially dead on. For general home shop use it is a very good buy.

Excellent value...
I bought this - reluctantly - only because some of the tools used in watch-making actually use a vise as their base. I'd been making do just fine but got annoyed one evening when a tool kept moving and thought, "I'm old enough to own a vise"My feelings about vises was that it's one of those things that once you own, you're officially old and cannot go back to being young.I'm glad I picked this up.... For the price it's well built, sturdy and seems dependable. I've used it enough since buying it that I'm kicking myself for not having bought one years ago

A versatile vise, decent for the price.
Purchased this for a drill press, the tilt feature works better than others I have used. While its not a precision machined vise its pretty decent for what it is. A good value for the price. Cheers!

Another WEN quality product
This 3" vice is well made and sturdy for it's size. It needs a break in as it is very tight when trying to use the tilt function. I used CLOVER 400 grit lapping compound, attached it to my lathe bed cross feed and put a steel bar in the vice for extra leverage (you will need it). Then coat the rails with compound and begin tilting back and forth. Once this is done it moves very easily. The scale appears to be accurate and the index pin and holes are nice.

Best buy for this vice
I have shopped for this vice at many locations, with no success. Finally, I discovered it on Amazon. It solved my needs exactly. It is well built and very solid. It will be a part of my shop for a long, long time. It is an excellent value and excellent buy.

I remember Wen....
Wen is my new go to brand of tools! Excellent quality at a more than fair price. I have several Wen hand and power tools that I have bought to replace my aging Craftsman stuff. I was brand loyal for more than 30 years and now that tradition has shifted to Wen. This machinist vise is no exception..... I cannot find one of the same quality at the price.

Excellent small(ish) vise
Works great in the service truck when working with small parts and you need an extra hand. The tilt function is a definite benefit. Built solid and nice and heavy.

Useless out of the box!
The vise was useless out of the box, it would not tilt at all. The burrs and poor machining on the dove tails would not allow it to move unless you applied ridiculous amounts of force with a tool to increase your leverage. (I used a SS pipe I had).I used valve lapping compound from the local autoparts store, and about 45 minutes of effort to get the vice so that it easily adjusted and worked well. The unit is cheap unless you count your labor in making it work.If you are not familiar with how to preform the final portion of the machining and clean up on machined parts, I would recommend that you purchase a more expensive better machined vice.If you want a vice that works out of the box, again I would recommend that you look at a more expensive and better machined vice.If you value your time in the shop at something other than $0.00 then I would recommend that you look at a more expensive vice.
