Firstly, Was smaller packets than I anticipated. I reviewed the pictures the company provided, yet I expected a bigger quantity. I have tested all of the salts and honestly, I can not tell the difference in flavor.Red- larger granules, may ask a salt grinder for everyday seasoning.Pink- no need to use a salt grinderBlack- very large granules, the black color transfers on your hand, I'm afraid it may transfer over into your nutrient. I only use a modest amount so that I can prevent gray or black food. After doing some research of other black salts the bleeding black of the salt does NOT always go on, it appears to depend on the manufacturing process. So NO to black salt from this company.Gray salt- no need to use a salt grinder, finely ground, had quite a bit retained moisture, the saltiestAll the salts are quite salty, no metallic taste, no aftertaste, no DISTINCTIVE taste between the salts either.I really wanted to taste the advertised flavors of the salts.

This shipping on this product was amazing. It was here by the next night. I had NO clue what the package contained because I was not expecting this for DAYS. I will purchse from this company many times over simply because of the shipping speed and the way the items were packaged. These wree smaller size bags of salt to try. We of course have had a couple of these in the past but this was a nice way of being able to try some new versions of salt and stock up on old favorties as well. We spent a great deal of time and money searching for the perfect salts and peppers so we are very well aware of the pricing on these items. I must say that we were very pleased with the cost of this product. The black lava is our new family favorite which we have used on beef and even on lightly saueeted mushrooms and thinly sliced tubular purple potatoes. Perect!

Could be a little finer ground . They Grey is fine.just think, you are getting salt buried thousands of years ago, with no ocean toxins like sea salt.

Bought this variety pack for my boyfriend who loves to cook. He liked to cook with the grey salt. It has a super fine texture and mild flavor. BUT, the hit of the bunch was the black salt. We use this to rim our glasses for margaritas and oh my god they are the best homemade jalapeno mango margaritas EVER. If the black salt was intended for cooking....we have never used it for such just making the best margaritas with it.

The product arrived on time and as described by the seller. This was a gift, so I can't say that I tried it myself. However, the recipient was very excited to receive these items. She is a consummate cook, but recovering from surgery so was not able to make something while I was visiting for Christmas. She did show extreme excitement in the gift, so I know she will love them.
