Should have gotten it sooner
I was intimidated about making my own bias tape. There is work involved in cutting the strips and figuring out that 1/2" double bias tape requires 2" strips of material cut on the bias, sewing them together a certain way and ironing as you pull the material though the tools. But, once you know, you know! There is a little instruction manual that does not tell you how to do this, just the size of each tool. I wrote the width of strip required to make single and double bias tape over each size so I don't have to keep guessing. So glad I bought this and figured out how to do it.

Great Product, But Needs Instructions!
This is a great product. It is very easy to make bias tape with it.......ONCE you know how to do it. The only reason I didn't give this item 5 stars is because it came with ZERO instructions. I had to go out on the internet to find a couple of how-to videos on how to use the tools. Then I had to look for a site that stated how wide to cut the strips. Then I had to look for another video to show how to use the sewing foot. Then I had to look for another video to see how to properly join the strips. So my suggestion to the manufacturer is to please put adequate instructions in the package and create a website where a person can go find all the information needed to use the product in a single location.

Sew a pull cord onto the end of your fabric strip to get started easier.
I finally had a chance to try this out last night. So downside is there are no directions, the upside is it works. So basically you want your fabric strip to be no wider than the base width plus the side height of the form. Getting your strip threaded into the form can be a pain so I took a needle and thread and just tied a little thread pull cord on the end of each fabric strip, with the needle and thread attached to your fabric strip and drop the needle through the wide end of the form to drop out of the narrow end (can do it with just the thread but the needle acts as a nice little weight). This lets you get your fabric strip through the form easier. Then just iron your fabric strip as you pull it through the narrow end. Fold your fabric strip in half, pin and iron and voila, bias tape. Not too bad.

This got here so fast! Handy little gadgets help make matching bias tape easy. Great little kit contains everything needed except the cloth. Saves a bundle of $ while creating perfectly matched bias tape.wish I had bought this years ago.

Saves money
I really hate shoppi g for binding. Sometimes i cant find just the right one. So this has helped so much. It is so simple to use! Works with my brother sewing machines. The sizes work for most my projects. I would recommend no i will buy my friends and family one too.

Good concept, bad execution
I REALLY wanted to like this! I quilt and make my own binding strips and was hoping this would make the attaching of the binding go quicker, but not at all. I tried to use the large tape maker and after a lot of struggle, got it to work with the thinnest material I own. However, the presser foot that was included in the box did not keep the bias in place as I sewed on the binding. I ended up clipping the bias in place and sewed it on with a walking foot. I tried a slightly thicker material and it kept getting stuck on one side of the tape maker. The sides were not the same width. UGH! I tried to gently increase the width, but that did not work either. I really like the concept of this tool, I just wish it worked, it would save so much time.
