I just measured mine... it is 6 inches. I am surprised because it sounds pretty damn good for being so tiny. Not very much bass, but that is to be expected from a guitar amp speaker. Music sounds pretty good too, but as I said... not a lot of bass.

Q: What kind of cable should I get to hook the guitar up to the amp?

You need an instrument cable. The cable should have 1/4" TS plugs, one at each end.

Q: I want to plug in a microphone and an aux cord for my ukulele.. coud I accomplish this with this amp?

It has 1 input for instruments. The AUX is a 1.5mm jack for an Ipod or something. The far right one is for headphones and it is an output.

Q: Can I use a DC current from a 12 volt car battery to pwer this amp for outdoor use?

You need an INVERTER = plugs into aux (cigarette lighter) in your vehicle; you plug your household electic item into the inverter; allows 110v appliance to be used with 12v power source. Buy it by wattage need. (Converter is the opposite) You can also use a portable power station/generator, such as Jackery ($$$), Goal Zero ($$$), Aeiusny, etc. (I use Aeiusny while boondocking/dry camping).
