Q: What’s the expiration date?

Didn’t see any on the package...but haven’t changed yet the one I’m using since October 2018...and my remote starter is still working strong!

Q: what is the dimentions of the battery (l x diameter)?

The battery is about 1 and 1/8 inches long and about 5/16 inches wide.

Q: why do so many brands of 27a 12v batts on amazon show wrong diameter >= 0.4inch? the actual value is about 0.3inch or 7.7mm (varies slightly by mfg)

They are ok for me, but not sure about life exoectancy

Q: Is there only one size (length)?. I have a small remote with this type of battery.

I have older remote actually took a dura cell that's NLA this battery was long enough not thick enough so just wrap with electrical tape if that's the case but I believe these are for today's remotes .
