OTC Tools 1534A Light Truck Wheel Step, Silver

I have 20" rimes and the frame contacts the powder coated rims. I have added rubber pads.

It is kinda expensive for the material used, but works ok, don't have to find a step stool in the house now at least, need to look carefully when ordering because the sale prices are for smaller tires, need to look at spec's to order the proper 1.

Well designed, high quality, quite adjustable, and heavy duty with a good finish...Arrived WICKED FAST... Very pleased with what I received !Before the purchase I went online to look into OTCTOOLS.COM and called tech support...I was able to speak with a real human and we determined that it would, in fact, fit my large tires/wheels...Fresh out of the box, adjusting the hanger function to better fit my tires was a snap...The "step up" achieved was a generous 21" with more at the ready...The step platform was perforated and absolutely non-skid...Allows for greatly improved access into my formerly out-of-reach cargo bed...I wish it was made in the USA but the functionality and build quality is First Class...I would recommend this Light Truck Wheel Step without hesitation !

I was missing the bolts that hold the steps on. Looks like 5/16 bolts. Instead of using cotter pins I think hairpin clips would have been better.

Bought this for my husband to use when working in his jeep and trucks- he loves it!

Have been in the automotive industry as a technician all the way to owner for almost 40 years and have used OTC often. They build quality equipment. I chose this particular step because it's an OTC and the step tread gives a slip resistant surface. Spent 3 hours on it one day hanging over the fender of a Suburban. No problems

I weigh just under 850 pounds, so a well-built step is important to me. This thing gives me confidence that I will not mirror Humpty Dumpty. I tried it on really fat deep tires and it barely made it, but still worked. It works great on my 20 inch Ford truck tires, since it is relatively flexible.Nice to buy something that is not junk.

Wish it could allow for a lower setting for step. Step is too high for my 5'5" wife. Just fine for me at 6'2"
