Do not buy this unless the pain is so intense that you are willing to feel like someone poured boiling oil on you! The burning is intense and extremely irritates the skin. Now if you decide to buy it once you apply it and the burning is intense trow some peanut butter on the affected area and it will calm down the burning within 20 minutes. Leave it on for a couple hours and you will be back to normal. Its truly like icy hot X100.

husband uses it for the pain derived from zoster after 2months his almost out of pain, the capsaicin is the one that does wonders, he used the cream and patches and now he is using the roll on

Didn't burn too much when I first put it on but after a while it burned more....still tolerable though. The real pain came the next day when I showered. Sharp burning pain went through my feet like nothing I have ever experienced. Didn't even think it would still be on there but I honestly felt my feet were on fire. This is going in the trash!

Love it! it really works and no odor. But be careful, if you cant stand the heat, dont use this product!I use on neck and shoulders and it is wonderful. BUT I used it on my arm one night and couldnt sleep...too hot!!A wet paper towel will wash is off. Be careful not to touch your eyes!

Did nothing to ease arthritis pain but it did burn my skin. The next morning, when I ran water over the area, it still burned. It might work for some people, but it definitely didn't work for me

Chalk me up as another burn victim. I guess some people have a sensitivity to capsacin and I am one of them. I got this for neuropathy in my toes and rubbed it on. It wasn't warming at all - my toes felt like they were one fire. I don't know if it relieved any pain, but that burn certainly allowed me to focus on something other that neuropathy pain. I would never use this on my back or neck. My review is based on my results. If you can tolerate capsacin, this may work very well, but if you the least bit sensitive, I'd avoid this product and any product with capsacin as an ingredient.
