Decent product
I bought this for data storage. So far it has been a good product at a competitive price. I like that it is a HHD as they hold data better for long periods of time.

Keeping fingers crosses
Works so far, we'll see for how long. I've had plenty of drives over the years, with the exception of the normal spin up, sounds are usually not a good thing, heads clanking around, needles jumping or digging. I've Never had a drive sound quite like this before though, it makes a weird gurgling sound, almost sounds like it's brewing coffee. 🤷‍♂️ i get it, it's a hard drive life, sometimes you need a little pick me up, I won't hate on it as long as it keeps working, but I gotta be honest, it worries me a little. I'll keep my fingers crossed

Returning drive after failing to connect
Received this 12TB drive in an undamaged shipping container, and double boxed; however, after trying to setup this external drive per the enclosed instructions to two different systems, utilizing Windows 10 and 11, the drive will not connect to either system or appear in my file explorer and IS NOT available for use. This is even after performing multiple cold reboots. I'd give lower than a one-star, but that's the lowest allowed on Amazon.

Avolusion hard drives work good
I got this from MD TECH and they shipped it very fast. It was a brand new hard drive. I kept this hard drive on for about 17 hours straight to transfer some files and it worked fine. The hard drive packaging says its 12TB but when I plugged it into my computer it said 10.9TB. I think that seems acceptable because of the formatting and size of the hard drive. I would recommend this seller and this brand and would buy again.

Functional
It works but is very noisy, otherwise it would have a higher rating. It will function as a basic backup drive but not in an area where the old fashioned hard drive noises cause distractions.

Failed after a week
This drive failed after a week. I lost some pretty important data due to this. Don't trust Amazon "reviews" go online and do some research before a purchase. Wish I did then I wouldn't be out money and important data
