Inadequate performance. Drops video frames and audio. Unable to rename device from settings. Error is returned when trying to update firmware. Not fit for purpose. No other relevant reviews for the described product before December 2024. Deliberately misleading. Sort this out Amazon!

No good for video casting
Won't connect to cast video but will for photos to cast from phone which was one reason for purchase so partially sighted mum can see photos of great grandkids on older TV(not a smart TV)

Poor quality, unstable connection.
Unstable connection, disconnecting every 5-10 minutes, poor picture quality, and does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi as stated in the item description.

Didn't work for me
Unfortunately, the instructions were very complex (NOT straight-forward as others have suggested here) - this was the dirst hurdle.Secondly, once it was finally setup, although it worked, there was a delay and lag from the phone video to the TV, which was really frustrating.Sadly, it just didn't do the job so had to return.
