This is a device that could have been amazing. Great Dpad, OLED screen, 8840U, USB4. But honestly, the quality of the hardware is not even as good as the Chinese OEMS, never mind the likes of the Ally or Steam Deck. There is a an inherant flaw with the cooling fan, in that it rubs against the hinge of the kickstand. Not only that, but the kickstand mount cuts the airflow in half. I also have a feeling that the entire cooling heatsink was not making good contact with the APU, simply because how much heat was being exhausted at 30W tdp which shouldn't be a problem to cool for an 8840uI didn't bother with the windows install, but anyone who does buy the device and plays in windows - you need to update the display firmware and allocate vitural memory. Otherwise you could just install Linux and run it as a upgraded Steam deck.Overall, if its your only handheld, its a decent enough device. But if you have an Ally, A steamdeck or any of the Chinese oem handheld, you aren't missing much here and you should only buy if you are willing to tinker.
