It slips off the carbs when tightening down on install. You have to cut little notches that match up with the ones on the carb. To get a better fit

I paid extra from the name brand because the off-brand had complaints about the filter slipping off the cars. This is no different. This filter was put on my Ninja 250r and such was a pain to install. It needs modifications to even stay on the carburetors. I had to use a large zip-tie to hold it in place. Unless you are okay with zip-ting this to your carburetors I would stay away from this. if you are okay with using zip-ties to hold your filter on the carbs I would recommend that you save $30 and get the off-brand.

I bought this to replace the factory air box on my 2010 ninja 250r and it is a perfect fit. Of course, you have to rejet the carbs since it sucks in dip much more air but who complains about a little bit of extra performance. It also makes taking the carbs out way less frustrating. Definitely recommend it to anyone.

Good, durable filter serves as a high performance replacement for many stock airboxes. It will free up the intake significantly, so there is no way you can keep your stock tune if you replace your stock airbox with this. Be ready to rejet with at least a stage 4 jet kit or remap.

Used this filter for my 09 ninja 250R. Took out the stock air box (was a real pain) and replaced it with this filter. It fits perfectly and saves a ton of room making it easy to take the carb out to rejet it and adjust as necessary.
