😍 this
Got this for a long vacation where I sometimes won't have access to a laundry. Used this with laundry soap sheets today and ❤️ it. It worked as described and was simple and effective

useful for our RV trip
clever design, works well for lightly-soiled small items.

Great …… if no washing machine is available
I bought this to wash some clothes while on a cruise. I could wash undergarments easily. I could only wash one pair of jeans at a time, or two shirts per load. It made a mess on the counter, so I washed them on the bench seat in the shower. It works. It took about 5 minutes to scrub and 5 minutes to wring all the water out of clothing. So, 10 minutes per load. The bumps on the inside mimic a washing board. I am glad I purchased this, because it is great in a pinch, but not practical if you have to wash a lot of clothes.

Upgrade
Used to clean our first test load and it works very well, with some work. Take note, we used a painters bucket and stick before and this is much better!

Ok
Did a test wash. Seems like it did the job.

Do Not Purchase
This thing is a poorly made piece of trash. It's made from a thin plastic, and the one delivered to me had a puncture in it so water leaked out all over the place. I am returning it, and I will not purchase again.

requires more than elbow grease
yes, that's right. you need more than elbow grease. add a leg. don't break it.anywhoo, this review feels epic because i believe my first amazon review was of the dezitrek manual washing bag/plunger combo. yes, scrubba preceded desitrek. yes, this is my first scrubba. yes, i just gave this a spin yesterday. pun intended.i'll run this review as a comparison to the dezitrek in the absence of other options. scrubba has been around for a while. the small form factor, built in nubby "washboard", dry bag plus water in/out screw-in lid functionality, and included one-way vacuum valve pack a nice punch. you can use this for anything for the smallest items to, arguably, about a day's worth of clothes for a single person. so in short, its capacity provides a really nice low- (no-?) tech alternative to straight out hand washing by the sink or other running water line, great for times when you're trapped in an island on your own, camping, you name it. can you do more than this? not in one go. so is the capacity relatively small? yeah. is that a problem? not necessarily.everything folds into itself nicely for easy, light form factor and packability. it would've been nice for scrubba to include a little carry bag. yes, the material is a light layer of TPU. while i haven't tried out the other scrubba models including the OG one, it looks like, as a compromise for the see-through perk, instead of TPU-coated RPET, only TPU was used for this one. will it have good long-term durability? time will tell. that said, as a response to those who said that their scrubba promptly leaked -- the packaging says that scrubba honors a 2-year warranty, which should give some sense of satisfaction for the short term. perhaps this also means that the product won't nicely last more than 2 years, but you consider that accordingly.this scrubba bag is much lighter, smaller, and lighter-capacity than the desitrek. a plunger, even one that can disassemble, takes up a lot more space. the desitrek "dry" bag (we're washing here) has heavy-duty synthetic material that appears very much puncture-proof. perhaps this would be more vulnerable. perhaps you can avoid any pokey spiky things to wash in this scrubba.what's the ideal use case? synthetics, delicates, small things, clothes and linens that do not retain so much water (aka not cotton, etc). use delicate/hand wash detergent only. yes, you can load this up, suck out the air, knead and knead and scrubby-scrub, maybe leave it soaking for a few more minutes for maximum filth extraction, then rinse and repeat at least once (i like 2x), then get a leg on it it and squeeze the water out, then remove the clothes and wring, wring, and drip dry. in other words, in lieu of electricity and a washer, you need time and elbow and leg grease. this is not necessarily a bad thing, but it requires being in the know and not minding the caveats.could you wash a pair of jeans? yeah, maybe, but i don't think this is the best way to do so. perhaps other scrubba bag materials are more hardy and tolerant of squishy bag scrubbing without compromising the bag. desitrek would work nicely; however, i would argue that the washing power of a built-in scrubby washing bag is better to field the agitation and washing power of a hand-washing apparatus. plunging takes time and more strength, but i definitely liked using this scrubba better for delicates and t-shirts in maneuvering the hand wash. note that i didn't say heavy-duty clothing. note that heavy-duty clothing like jeans, or even anything from moderate soil upwards, is best left to the machines, which are well-powered to do the job.so for specific tasks and purposes, this deserves a full 5 stars. for the others, figure out other tools. the right tool for the right purpose. and if you don't have the time, and your washer is busted like mine is right now, get yourself to a laundromat for the quickly satisfying so fresh and so clean. cue the song.

Undies washer!
Awesome for off-grid camping! It let us extend our stay in the backcountry an extra week by being able to keep our undies and socks clean. It is easy to use and it works really well for small loads.
