I cannot speak on the health benefits of the mushrooms, but the flavor of this coffee isn't bad. It's a mellow medium roast with slight earthy undertones from the mushrooms. You hardly notice there's anything in this except for coffee. I prepared it as I usually would and think it tastes just fine with cream and sugar. Definitely drinkable.

I wanted to try a mushroom coffee and gave this one a try since it contains lion's mane mushroom. The product comes nicely packaged in a resealable envelope.The coffee component is described as a medium roast Arabica coffee. I prefer dark roast coffee that is smooth and full bodied with no acidic component. So, to try out this product, I made my coffee with about 25% of this mushroom coffee to 75% my usual dark roast Guatemalan coffee. I did not want to put too much of the mushroom coffee into my morning coffee as I was not enthralled with the odor of it when I opened the bag as it smelled like run-of-the-mill grocery store coffee. After brewing, even made with only 25% of this mushroom coffee, it tasted acidic and as if I had made this with a lower-quality coffee. I did not notice the taste of the mushroom component at all.So, while I don't think that this is a bad product, if you are particular about your coffee and prefer dark, smooth, full bodied coffee, this product is probably not for you. If you don't mind cheaper acidic coffee, then this product might be just fine for your tastes.

Euphoria Handcrafted Arabica Coffee & Organic Lion's Mane Mushroom - this was the first mushroom coffee I ordered that wasn't instant coffee and actually had to be brewed. I wasn't so sure how to feel about that because of the musky mushroom scent I can detect in typical mushroom coffees. Fortunately, I didn't smell that when I brewed this in my drip machine. I only made half a pot so I used 1.5 tablespoons of the coffee which didn't seem like it would be enough, but it worked out great. It has a light; mild flavor and I did not detect any mushroom taste. I added my typical creamer and enjoyed the cup I had. My teenage daughter tried some looking for gut relief and she could not tell that it was mushroom coffee. To be fair, she's not a typical coffee drinker either. If you like a light brew coffee, you should not have any issues with this. I also did not have jitters or stomach upset though I know that can vary from person to person. I personally like this stuff minus the inconvenience of it not being instant.

I’ve noticed a huge difference in my mood and energy levels since switching to Euphoria! It gives me a great mood boost and I have stable energy levels throughout the day instead of that caffeine crash from traditional coffee! I highly recommend this product!!

I want to start off by saying that I think it needs to be put out there that how you take your coffee determines if a coffee is good or not. I sometimes go black, sometimes with cream, and sometimes with cream and sugar. For each way I drink it, different coffee's are better suited to one or the other.For this coffee I took it black and found that is drinkable... but it's not the best tasting mushroom coffee I've had. I have had other ones with a stronger coffee flavor. Due to the fact that drinking this black had a more muted flavor, I didn't even attempt cream or sugar.
