Q: How to even out the worn heel before I can replace it with this product? Thank you.

I took the scraps from cutting the heel down to fit the shoe and glued it on the worn part of the heel and then grind it down to be the same level of the old heel and then I put the new heel on

Q: How difficult would it be to cut these to size to fit the chunky heel of women's leather boots?

The heels cut very easily. I had to cut them to fit my boots as well and I had no problems cutting.

I would not buy these again unless you knew for certain the exact size of your boots. They can not be trimmed. They are also very stiff. I️ couldn’t use them because my heel was not exactly flat. For me it’s w waste of money
