A great lens from Sigma, very good sharpness and bokeh. I am pretty happy I bought this to be honest although it's a bit expensive for me.

Sharpest lens in my kit

Best Portrait Lens so far I have used.

Tuck sharp!
I own a 3 more Sigma lenses. This is by far the sharpest. Well packaged, solid construction, rigid plastics, heavy lens due to all the glass inside and paired with a D810 you can feel the weight but it feels so professional and well made in hand and such a good performer in the field - I shoot weddings and portraits. Super fast, tuck sharp never had an issue with it the only downside it came very off in calibration so I would suggest to expect that and get it calibrated asap prior using it. Also ranks #1 in sharpness in DxOMark. Comes with a lens hood and cap in its own secure pouch. Must have for all the wedding and portrait photogs out there!

Perfetto per Primi piani, ottimo sfocato.
Utilizzato con Nikon D750.Nitidezza, sfocato e resa dei colori ottimi. Perfetto per ritratti e primi piani, offre uno sfocato morbido e poco distrattivo.La vignettatura è praticamente assente credo anche grazie al diametro generoso (86mm).Non mi sento di definire difetti il peso (circa 1.2kg) e l’ingombro, ma il problema può essere soggettivo ed è da tenere in considerazione nel caso si voglia scattare “leggeri”.Ero preoccupato per le voci dei problemi di “front/back focus” che giravano su questa lente e sulla serie “Art” in generale, ma dopo un mese di utilizzo ho notato solo pochi scatti (su centinaia) non perfettamente a fuoco (soprattutto front focus) ma generalmente in situazioni molto difficili.

Es lo que te esperas de un ART. Bien construido y acabado. Muy nítido y preciso. Silencioso y rápido de enfoque (Nikon). Al ser nítido ya a 1.4 te da más operatividad en muchas circunstancias y más bokeh si es lo que buscas. Es algo más pesado que el Nikon y más ancho (filtro de 86 en lugar del 77) pero da unos resultados espectaculares siendo más barato.
