Excellent leverless for an excellent price
Don't spend the whatever dollars on a Victrix or a Hitbox, you've found the right place. There are other cosmox/haute42 models that are also quality, so look into those if you're after different sizes, just look at their other offerings. I've used this to play a lot of SF6, Guilty Gear Strive, 2XKO, and it's been great for all. Easy to customize, thriving discord scene to help you with whatever you need. Just buy this one, stop scrolling. :)

Best Leverless Controller at this Price Point
Pros:+ Price: Fraction of the cost of almost all other leverless offerings+ Runs on GP2040-CE: Uses open-source firmware that is feature rich, performant, and backed by community+ Customize-able: Extremely easy to add art or swap out components.+ Compatible with PS4/PS5 with 3rd party Authentication Device (sold seperately): Ability to play games that support 3rd party PS4 licensed controllers (i.e. Fighting Games)+ Extra buttons - Extra buttons prove useful in modern fighting game titles like Street Fighter 6.+ Community Support - Support comes in the form of an active and helpful English Discord server.Cons:- Not Sony Licensed: To keep costs down, does not work with PS5 native apps/games that don't have 3rd party PS4 licensed support- Uses Keyboard Switches: This is more personal preference, but it cannot emulate the "feel" of traditional arcade buttons (i.e. Sanwa) due to different construction.- Not quite plug and play: Using this controller may require some setup (referring to instructions or GP2040-CE resources/Discord) to get running, compared to other peripherals. Especially, if trying to play on PS5/Xbox Series X/S.As you can see the Pros far outweigh the Cons, which are moreso tradeoffs to keep the price competitive and maintain the many features.I personally own multiple leverless controllers and traditional lever sticks. The T series is the one I keep coming back to. Now with the T16-C refresh, it just got better. Out of the box, it comes with objectively the best stock Kailh Choc v2 switches on market. It still has features that the higher priced leverless lack, like RBG lighting and a mini display that's useful for troubleshooting.Again, this controller is perfect for whether you're new to fighting games or even if you're a seasoned tournament player. Tune into tournament streams, and you'll see more and more people are sporting this controller because it is just that good.Even if you purchase this controller and get a third party dongle (i.e. Magicboots v1.1), it'll still cost half as much as a Razer Kitsune or a Victrix FS-12. The only reason why I'd look at other options is only if you specifically need a Sony Licensed controller to play games that don't support 3rd party PS4 licensed controllers (non-Fighting games). In my opinion, the T16-C is the best leverless controller out there at the moment, by far. The feature-set and price is unmatched.edit: I haven't had the problem happen to mine, but the controller's usb C port isn't reinforced well at all. You have to baby the port and make sure no vertical force is applied to it while plugged in, otherwise you can easily damage the usb c port. I'll have to dock a star. Despite this, this controller is still the most robust at this price point.

First entry into leverless hitbox style controller, and now I can't go back
I've never used a leverless controller until I was able to get some time on one at EVO. I liked how they felt, but didn't want to spend the crazy amount of money if I wasn't sure I was going to like it. After some research, found the Haute42/Cosmox Hautepad t16 and went for it. I have to say that this has won me over and it feels better than any of the $300 controllers out there. Build construction feels solid, switches feel solid and responsive. I also picked up a Cosmox Booter 5 to be able to play on PS5 which works flawlessly. I also like the fact that if I want to switch over to my PC, i'm able to. Customization is a plus, and I can put in my own artwork easily. The T16-C is so good, I want to try out and test the rest of the hautepad, and hauteboard line. If you're looking for a leverless hitbox style controller, this is a no brainer. You get so much for the price.

Unbelievable for the price
This is my first leverless controller purchase and it's impressive. Good size and weight, and for what you get, this price is a steal (I got it for $80). It also has RGB light up buttons and patterns if you're into that.I haven't fully gotten into the customization part yet, but have been using it frequently to just play fighting games. Buttons feel and sound good. I've played stick my entire life so it'll take me awhile to get used to (I'm 38 as of this writing) but yeah, super satisfied with this purchase. The extra buttons also allow you to use this in WASD style, which is kind of a neat option to have at your disposal. There are other extra buttons too but I haven't messed with them yet.I'd recommend it as a great "entry-level" leverless stick. $80 for this thing is insane and puts the $150+ ones to shame. Highly highly recommend.

The Buttons
The device is good and does what its supposed to do, my main issue is the buttons feel really cheap and like they are going to break. I am a bit scared to press on them because of so. I plan on swapping them out but this could all be avoided with better buttons.

Arcade style controller without the joystick.
This controller is built similar to an Arcade style look.It does work and compatible with PCs/Consoles.It just lacks a better movement joystick look.Without the joystick, you're left with this weird layout of buttons. The buttons on certain programs/consoles may need to be programmed by "button mapping".It is a fairly large thin rectangular controller with some extra parts and comes with a cable to attach it to plug in to your computer/console. The buttons are properly marked, so you know what button does what, but again I was not happy with the layout of buttons on this thing. I wished it had some sort of joystick to create the classic arcade feel when you play games instead of this weird layout. For that lack of joystick, I took off a star, but it does work on my laptop.Just going to take some used to on my laptop gaming, but if you want a controller without a traditional arcade look, but looks similar ; then get it.

Great bang for your buck
Arrived fast, great pricing, pretty comfortable on lap. I added my own non slip strips I had laying around. Worked right out of the box on PC and tested it on PS5 with a Brooks Wingman converter. 🤘
