While some books in the genre seem to be simply an excuse to explore a larger variety of participants and positions, Elodie Hart enriches the experience by describing the three characters’ emotions and inner thoughts as they evolve to embrace new ideas and desires. At times, Ms. Hart’s writing is almost like poetry, using exceptional skill to bring the heart as well as the heat.

Another UN-matched success! (See what I did there?)Episode 5 of Elodie Hart's Alchemy series is so beautiful, sensitive and captivating! As a huge fan of the rest of the series, this book takes a bit of a detour from the hetero-normative narrative. It explores the dynamics of a MMF throuple developing and finding a way to exist in society. Max and Darcy are an age-gap couple zinging with passion, who invite Dex into their bedroom and hearts. While Dex struggles against his bigoted upbringing, Max and Darcy patiently and lovingly embolden him to embrace his true identity and desires. With all the spice and tenderness of her previous books, this one is sure to be a new favorite.I've honestly never been a fan of the MMF setup, but Elodie has converted me. There is no jealousy or possessiveness between the three main characters - only unconditional love and support. There's a found family aspect to the story that reminds readers that they have the power to choose their own happiness, and to pursue it with the support of the people who truly love you, whether related by blood or circumstance.

An incredible addition to the Alchemy Series! Dex, Max and Darcy bring us not only an unforgettable HEA, but deep emotional impact as well. This book was a joy to read.
