Bambino Mio, Laundry Bags, 2 Pack

I am very pleased with these bags! I've been on the hunt for quite a while to find open-weave laundry bags because, although I have a set of "normal" bags, I don't find that the water swishes through that mesh-y fabric enough to sufficiently clean my heavier duty items (e.g. my daughter's socks, bibs, washclothes, etc) These are PERFECT to let the water and detergent process through during the washing process.I understand that they're made to be inserts in a cloth diaper pail, so I can't really complain, but I would LOVE it if Bambino Mio would develop a 2nd line of these bags with a zippered closure. I would personally prefer that to the pull-cord close that is in place now. Still, 5-stars and no regrets!

We use these in our cloth diaper pail and they work fine. I'd prefer if they were water tight, but we need to wash out the bucket often regardless. These bags just make the diaper laundry a little bit easier.

I was torn between giving it 2 stars or 3.Pros: It fits really well over the Bambino Mio Laundry pail. It has an elastic band that scrunches over the top. We put one bag on the pail itself and leave it upstairs by the diapering station. The other one we hang up, by the diapering station down stairs. It's handy to have around because you can just toss your dirty diapers in there and take it straight to the laundry afterwards.Cons: But i wouldn't recommend it if you are just looking for a mesh laundry basket, not necessarily to use with the pail itself. It annoys me that there's no good way to "tie off" the opening. There's a low quality elastic band (think thin hair tie) around the opening, and you just have to make a loop knot to tie it, which is annoying. It's not very secure and there's no other way to close it. Sometimes, in the wash, it comes loose and the diapers spill out. Then I have to go searching for them among the other stuff in the laundry, since I hang dry the diapers.Overall, I feel like this product is over priced for what it is. There are way cheaper laundry baskets out there that function better (i.e. zipper tops). However, I will say that the mesh itself is pretty strong and high quality. I have put it through many washes and it's still holding up pretty strong.

I use them to wash cloth diapers and they work exactly as expected. Just what I needed.

We bought this last year for our cloth diapers. i thought it looked like netting but the picture wasn't good. We've been using them for clothes but do NOT use these for diapers!! Anyone who does is insane! They are netting, for sanitations sake, use a wet back for diapers! I would never use this for diapers, it would leak everywhere, they would not hold anything in like wet bags. ugh, disgusting...the very though of using them for diapers makes me sick.

very sturdy

we've bought a few of these, because i like that we can dump the whole thing in the washer and dryer without a thought (unlike some of the PUL options) but the elastic cord has worn out/broken over time. but, we just keep replacing it, since it's not a pricey product and it gets the job done easily.

These bags are great, they clean up well and do not smell. Only complaint is they are too big (long) for Bambino pail.
