I travel a fair amount for work and routinely have to look at multiple documents while reviewing data and writing reports - I've used a second screen for my laptop (and wireless mini-keyboard and mouse) since about 2016 as it gives me a massive productivity boost - I can set up a mini-office in a couple of minutes. My 2016 screen has done fantastically well (it's an Asus, and is still going after many, many trips in trains and through airport security, etc.) but it's getting a bit long in the tooth and, actually, the case has always had quite a big footprint so you have to pull narrow desks away form the wall to fit it in. A colleague I was travelling with saw my system and decided to get this screen as it was a great price and seemed to fit her requirements. Having heard she was very happy with hers I got this one as a spare for me - and it does seem really good. It's thin, slips into my laptop bag with the laptop, has a smaller footprint and is absolutely plug and play - connect to the USBc port and it lights up instantly (although it helpfully has other cables supplied to get you going (although only the USBc offers power and connection). So, I now have two screens but I'll be sharing this one with family members for when they need a second screen. For the price, it's remarkable. Long-term robustness (a strength of my ASUS) is yet to be determined, but it's certianly off to an excellent start - couldn't be happier.

My old 7" screen to play with RasPis was malfunctioning, and I was tired of having to fiddle with the settings to get it to recognise the non-standard screen size, so bought this. It arrives in a laptop-sized box, and inside are enough cables to hook up mini-HDMI and standard HDMI devices, but I was right to buy a mini-micro HDMI cable for the Pi. It's powered by USB-C, with an adapter included, but I just used a socket on my two-gang wall socket as it was nearby.The screen comes with a magnetic cover that can be used to prop it up at a few different angles, or can be removed if you don't need it. Picture quality is good enough, especially for the price, and the on-screen menu is intuitive, so shouldn't need too much in the way of fiddling with to understand.Once out of the box, it takes up very little room when not in use, and with the case closed up, it looks like a big 15.6" tablet. Glad I got it, as it's going to make playing with my Raspberry Pi much easier in future.

I bought the large 18.5inch model which is hard to fault for the money. Screen is very slim and light with good definition and brightness. The included cover is great as a bit of protection from scuffs and doubles nicely as a stand. It's a good size for everyday use and a brilliant supplement on a desktop and is easily portable around the house. Probably a bit on the large side if you needed to carry it round on the go. The 15.6 inch is a better size to go in a bag but I found it a bit too small for a desktop screen so returned it and kept the larger one. The best feature is that it can share power with a laptop via usb C, so doesn't need the separate power cable (although one is supplied). I can plug my laptop's usb C charging cable into either the laptop or the screen, and the other device just shares the power via the usb cable link. Excellent product for a relatively modest price.

I have had this for two weeks and so far, have been impressed. It was nice to see that the monitor included all 3 1m cables need and power adaptor in the box, which meant that there was no need to buy anything else - particularly a HDMI to mini-HDMI cable.Set up was a breeze: plug & play and the quality of the screen is absolutely fine to use as an additional monitor for a laptop. It feels a bit flimsy, but I have no complaints at this price. It will get light use, either if working in the sitting room at home, or occasional travel when packed in the original box. I am not sure how it would stand up to being thrown in my panniers like my laptop & iPad, but it was not bought for that purpose.Minor gripes are that the screen can slip when propped up in the (included) case if knocked and the ports on the side can make it awkward to place it close to the laptop. Neither would stop me from buying another if I lost this one though.Overall, it does the job I bought it for at a keen price. I would recommend it.

This is an outstanding monitor for the price point! It is extremely lightweight with great picture quality. On the left hand side of the monitor there is a really handy scroll tab to allow you to very quickly select volume and brightness, or (from the same wheel) enter into a menu for other menu settings. On the right hand side, are the mini-HDMI, USB-C and power inputs. This is a portable monitor so no VESA mounts should be expected - instead the monitor comes with a really nice cover that doubles as a stand - it allows the monitor to stand at 2 different angles (using soft magnets to form a triangular stand) or else to wrap around the monitor for easy carrying. The cover is of really good quality! In fact, both the monitor and the cover were of much better quality than I expected for the price. This monitor would be great for use as a portable monitor or extra screen (personally I use it for linking up to a Raspberry Pi 500 for a lightweight and extremely cheap portable PC/monitor solution) but I was also able to run the monitor off an Apple phone using just the USB-C cable (outstanding!). I also used the support service for help with the extended 2 years warranty and the service / support was both fast and responsive. This is the best purchase I made on Amazon this year - so happy
