My leak was at the intake manifold. This product is for head gasket leaks. But to answer your question, one bottle is supposed to be enough to seal a head gasket leak. I have heard of good results from many reliable sources. It is supposed to seal a leak. But I have no reports on how long the leak will be sealed. I wish that I could give you first hand evidence of its effectiveness.

Q: Can this be used along with the weather seal? Or is that just not needed?

I have never used the weather seal. I have a fleet of buses and this sealer has helped greatly reduce engine repairs caused by coolant cavitation. We use it every 75,000 miles as a preventative measure.

Q: will it work in a semi motor?

First off this product has worked for me in some of the most extreme conditions, like water/antifreeze running right out of a tail pipe. Will it work in a Semi motor? depends how bad it is or whats really wrong with it but if circumstances fit, I wouldn't be afraid to try it and when it's made the repair it seems to hold forever. It only works with the water that circulates in the engine. It could be the oil filter or the valve cover gasket leaking.
