Was able to reclaim my vice grips from under my hood and use these cheap replacements. Sizing is a bit awkward, the small ones won't fit over the pipe I wanted, and the medium won't close enough to seal it all the way, but it's close enough. Wish the edge wasn't bladed as it gives me concerns about the pipe it's on long term, but I don't think these are supposed to be used long term, also the tip comes down to a point for some reason. Anyway, cheaper than vice grips but I have concerns about using these for any extended period of time.

I'm not sure what to make of the title/description of these "oil pipe cutting sealing pliers" - to me these are "pinch pliers". They're used to "pinch off" soft tubing, like automotive coolant or vacuum lines.I did a quick test on my car's pcv line, and it seemed to work well. They seem very similar to others like that I've seen. These are a simple tool, so there's not much to go wrong. In a few weeks I'll use these in a more serious way, as I try to figure out what's wrong with my car's evap system.
