It's a very unique set: it looks stunning as a display, but it can easily become a favorite for play. The mossy-stone look adds to the character of the set, and makes it easy to incorporate into other display sets. I love how it looks next to my cherry blossom bonsai, and I am thinking on how to incorporate it into one for added umphAlthough I am not necessarily a Ninjago fan, I really enjoyed most of the minifigs, as they can mostly be used to make my own characters (except the little purple guy that looks too specific).This would make a great gift for any adult who enjoys brick building, and pretty much any kid, once again, because of its unique play/display qualities. It's currently at a bargain, and would make for an awesome, unexpected gift.

A gift for our 10 yr old grandson. As always, Legos are a big win in our family! He had a great time building with the set.

Absolutely stunning display model! I really can't comment about the playability other than to say it would definitely be aimed at smaller hands due to some of the openings, which seems at odds with the complexity and piece-count of the build.Despite that, this really is gorgeous, and has immediately been integrated into other scenes we've built!I don't normally buy Ninjago sets, but this one is worthwhile for any LEGO fan!

Good looking set, I got it 30% off. At that price its worth every penny. Lots of little pieces create shrinkflation at full price. I wish they sold the base they gave to creators. Sad they showed it off but didn't include it or make it a secondary offering. Set looks good within my D&D lego world.
