Wonderful book, has plenty of ideas to decorate my home with.

I really enjoyed this book which handled various aspects of living your own authentic goth life with humour and diversity. Ultimately, although the book obviously mainly focuses on Voltaire's preferred brand of the gothic, the author is very keen to point out frequently that there are other ways to express your best creepy self, and gives ideas for this. There are recipes for dark dinner parties as well as craft projects to help you to get the look that you're going for in your own goth home. I also particularly liked that the house is a normal sized apartment because in every other home improvement book I've read, the house is a six bedroomed mansion whose kitchen is the size of my entire two up two down house. This is far more relatable for the average person. And even if you're not planning to embrace the gothic aesthetic all year around, it's got some great decor ideas for halloween.
